We had a few efforts to get the ball back in thatRotherham attack. Just enough to put them off. In the end, Manning did fine to get it back for us. nother example a few seconds later of us winning some tackles. Nice to see that side of us.

Ah. I was hoping AA would that one in there. We did have a coupe of folk. But it went back. Anotehr one from Manning, where he gets into a good position to receive the ball. But the final ball doens;t work out. Points for trying, and hopefully this will get better.

Underway! COYR!

Last few mins of the half have been a little scrappier. We've got it back under control again. But, with THB, we still look up in case there's soemthing really good on. Manning with a decent run. His deliveries not matching the work that goes into them a fair bit of the time. Half time. We got the dominance right from the start. Got an early goal and controlled it throughout. As if that wasn't good enough, we often say that there's more to come. We've got a settled starting 11 at the moment, and you can see there's a bit more comfort in there. Just that extra familiarity and time together, developing us as a team. Little link ups with KWP and AA. Smallbone looking that bit more comfortabel in those advanced poistions as games go by, knwoing that Downes and the others are doing the leg work behind him. We're also looking stronger. That's right across the team today. We've passed and controled. But we've got it back when we've needed to as well. Another half for Martin and the team to be very pleased with. More in teh second half please.

Smallbone channelling his inner Stu there, running through this time form the left. Ref keeps pulling us back, as we're so keen.

We clearly work a lot on those cut backs. four or five players all capable of being on the ball or to recive it in similar positions.

Lovely direct (mixing it up again) ball form THB right up to Fraser. Lovely control and awareness and AA is our top finisher. Controlled, strong and relentless. But now with an even more settled 11 and the experience of knowing we have to switch things around, if not in tempo than with distribution. Nearly a third from Smallbone (who is his usual machine, this time being central while AA is out on the right)

Rotherham tried a quick throw in of their own. As a result AA gave them the ball. A little unforced error. We've got it back Fraser back to AA and it's in!!!!!

KWP linking up really well with AA. Ball was a tough cross field one though. It’s right back with us though.

Near post that time form Manning’s corner. 80% possession, but being really patient. Good work going on though. AA working back there, Adams strong. But controlled rather than higher tempo, to force them into making errors.

Commentator saying that Rotherham have a tactical injury here, so they can get some instructions on.

75% possession. Only the 2 efforts so far. But very dominant. Need to be able to be making the link up play a little further up, to put Rotherham under some more pressure. A direct switch there to KWP gets us a corner. And that’s the sort of change of approach that’s needed. Not overhauled. Just to try different things, under our control.
