Good work from Theo. Gets the ball in. Noone there of course, but that's what the others have to be getting on the end of. A move that shows the massive tactical gaps in the team.

He was never going to turn it down. His chance to manage in a top league, after years of being a coach? And after being given lots of encouragement from SR to bring in his ideas with Ralph, as well as no doubt lots of "I could do this better" when working with jones.

Just damage control from him. He's saying to other prospective clubs that he not really wanting toback to being a coach, having now had managerial experience at one of the world's top leagues under his belt. It's also why his tactics are identikit, and why his press conferences are interchangeable. Consistent, doesn't shop and change tactics or panic, and can show new clubs the spreadsheets on why this is really successful, and it's our recruitment that was the problem/ he had little time to reshape the squad to his liking.

There will be a spreadsheet for new wage bill for new/ reduced terms in Championship, and selling on to Premier Legue clubs from that level, to maximise that profit. Just a bit ruined by us getting taken over as a Premier League club and losing all that broadcasting/ commercial revenue.

Lovely goal. But boy, did we mess it up. I was just typing away about the rawness of Alcaraz results in ruining attacks by sloppy passing. Then Lavia is brushed aside and we can;t get back quickly enough to prevent a really good ball, and haven;t tracked the scorer, because we'd all moved up field. Incredibly sloppy, and a clear example of where wer'e tactically naive. We don;t comit numbers when we're in a good attack. We are sloppy in passing, and our coaches never compensate for those risks, and we are absolute suckers on the counter.

Just tells me that Mo has been wasted, not being played up front. 🙂

Not part of the manual. Don't commit. Control the space. FOrce them into making an error. Or as we do, take up a space regardless of the threat/ position, allow shots to go in and hope our 'keepers are up to it, or they blaze over. Just another reason why RalphBall2.0 and SellesBall go wrong. Drop back to hold and break, allows a lot of very good finishers to have chances with a lighter ball at closer ranges.

Lyanco backing off, as per manaula, as opposed to dealing with the actual threat? It was going at pace, and McCarthy couldn;t get down in time. Not sure if he could/should have, although it doesn;t look great for a keeper to let one in under him.

18 in 92 for Rangers and she's not a striker, although had to play up front a fair bit. So, he's got as much chance, if nto more, than our usual band of bottlers.

A while ago pointed out that Bree had high assist/creative stats in the championship, while Aribo was getting ready for a Europa final. Both not near our team, and not because their repalcements are better.

If our players trusted their delivery, and wanted to change momentum in the game, get it in there. But no. Far better to create nothing from further back.
