  1. Massive KWP block. whew!
  2. Mara's mobility allowed him to win the ball and run from deep in a way that Paul wasn;t looking like doing earlier.
  3. Answered my is KWP fully fit query, as he is coming on. 🙂
  4. Is he fully fit? I can see Selles using AMN to contain today.
  5. Oh, just a little quicker to release that...and I don;t think anyone was far up enough to take advantage of Walcott's pass... still... an attack!
  6. They've not really linked up, and Onuachu not worked as a target. Diallo on so we stop getting overun in midfield. Walcott on asa Stu replacement and a different, more mobile threat with Mara.
  7. Triple threat substitutions!
  8. Might somehow get high enough up the pitch for a JWP free kick?
  9. fair enough booking for Stu there. Gnonto limping around. Hopefully, he'll make a full recovery, just after the final whistle.
  10. Yay! 3rd effort into the box, gets to Paul! okay Paul was at the back post, hoping that the ball had coem from that much better passing opportnity we fluffed taking, but it's progress!
  11. Not the best outcome from Perraud there. Good to see a run there. Leeds were notoriously narrow under JM, so perhaps something to be expoited.
  12. Nice ball in from Stu. We may not be playing at all well, but still goalless. So there's hope. And where there's hope... there's a late sucker punch robbing us of anything. 🙂
  13. AMN plays a strong pass, then moves into a postion to receive it. Knowing it was a tougher one to control, he's not really offering any support, and he vacated his defensive position along the way.
  14. Another Bamford effort. Leeds starting the brighter. Or rather, Leeds have started and we're just waiting for our lot. 🙂
  15. Bamford made sure he went over. Bednarek was half into his hand raising protest as Bamford was still going down. Seen 'em given though.
  16. That international experience that NJ couldn;t handle. 🙂
  17. Here we go. C'mon Saints!
  18. Leeds have a hard working midfield that can allow them to dominate the game and create chances. Wehre they struggle is creating that final pass and finishing, as they're not so good up front. If you can pass through their midfield, or bypass it, then they're defence will struggle. Unfortunately, we can;t string a pass together. So, no chance of getting it past the middle third. We do have a target man, but haven;t used him in that way, and he's not usually in the best position to pick anything up. We have little shape out there, and any forward action depends on how Leeds failed to convert, rather than any system of passing from us. Some slack passing gave them three or four attacks too. Nothing came from them, but that's because of their limitations. If we keep doing it, it increases their chances. It certainly stops us doing anything.
  19. A little chip in there after Baz came for it and was on the floor and that would have been it there.
  20. And again. No easy ball avaialble. So a threaded one picked and possession lost. No one offering an outball and here come Leeds again., getting a corner.
  21. Nice to see Baz going for that ball on the ground, even after getting fouled. Commited.
  22. We just managed to string 4 passes together well within our own half. Where it went wrong, and Ely might have found this a couple of times earlier, is that there are no out balls. We're positionally disjointed. So, there's no one avaliable to receive a pass in midfield. And so we lose it for another Leeds attack.
  23. ogf for. Such a lazy couple of passes there from us. Leeds nearly in. But we take it up the other end and Paul gets a shot in. Could have been a lot worse there. It's ough enough, but we're very sloppy today.
  24. Bamford in there with a good run. Easy enough for Baz. Whoo But it's Leeds on us again, and a shot not a million miles wide.
  25. Ely - nicely winnign and turning with that. Good positioning 20secs before that. It's not all bad. 🙂
