...so let's hope they're also paying the appropriate National Insurance and Tax for people in question...
-
Hopefully they'll do a good early(ish) renewal and then an almost as good deal for new STs, you need people hooked in from the start in this (likely where we'll be next season) division.

...accepted (btw)... goods points made tho' Crabby
-
...and wouldn't all/most of us excepted that one year ago...

Wise words. You have a way of putting things I'm sure many of us would like to say. Whereas when I read corpy-ho-ho-ho I find myself laughing so much I must stop as I fear my head may drop off.

Been working outside all day so haven't heard any news regarding flights but have definitely noticed aircraft about today and assumed everything must be returning to normal. Good luck for tomorrow.
-
Which just goes to prove they are cheating and deliberately fielding weakened teams. He's only fit to play if they don't have to pay out. CHEATS
-
Didn't they have even less at Sunderland earlier in the season...sure they did... Wigan of the South............oh, and CHEATS
-
The trouble is the media love a good ol' 'hard-done-by' story and are lapping up everything right now. But the same media do like to build something right up only to then knock it all down soon after when it all goes pop.
-
I'm sure you're right but worth remembering there was a bit of trouble after the game at SMS and a couple of theirs got hurt. Some could be out looking for a bit of revenge for their mates as they were not yer 'innocent' types. Not trying to scaremonger - probably wont be an issue - but worth being aware.
-
Corpy Ho-Ho-Ho, as if that was the only thing we call you cheats for...corpy ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho........ CHEATS.

I reckon they'd be happy with a point down here, just hope the Saints mind-set that done Leeds turn up and not the one against Orient. Charlton are a shade better than Orient. And where did the Echo get 3,200 Charlton fans from? They took 2,200 tickets, sold 1,100 and sent the rest back. http://tickets.cafc.co.uk/TicketsLatest.ink No doubt more will turn up and pay-on-the-day but 1,100 sold for this one. Shocking.

There's a time for slower and a time for faster. If you're piling on the pressure chasing a game some droany ol' chant aint gonna put the fear of god into defenders...and when it was that scenario at the Dell that's what you got. I've never heard it with the same intensity at SMS. Silly I know.
-
Do you remember 'Eyeskate' (or something) from a while ago? He loved percentages when glossing over their sh*t crowds. Should just point out that in their (first) short "Golden Era" they never filled fartton park, they got a couple of crowds just over 50k (thanks to many Saints fans and servicemen boosting their gates) but was generally well short of the 58k capacity. That's at best around 85%, most weeks considerably less. However, 19c (self-confessed Leeds/Charlton/Saints/skate fan) and Corpy surely can't be serious defending their shocking home crowds as a Premier League club. Oh yes, nearly forgot......CHEATS.
-
But what Saints fan in their right mind is gonna shout "Come on You Blues"? These days we get (a 'kin boring) "Cuuuuuuummmm on yooooou Re-edsssssssssss.............." (and sleep), not the most inspiring of chants. At the ol' Dell it used rattle through the stands, shorter, punchier, ear-splitting at times, particularly if we were chasing a game late on. The 'You-Reds' bit was like one word...sung the right way.
-
Can't call this one. Orient (should be) fighting for their lives and whilst our lot are talking a good game about being still in with a shout of the play-offs they've probably accepted it aint gonna happen in reality. Hopefully wont just turn into a nothing-end-of-season game for us, I want to walk out the stadium today convincing myself (albeit briefly) it's still possible! Surprised the club haven't hyped this one uo a bit more, Easter, kids off, could have done a ticket deal with lots of home games coming up and they could have made a big thing about seeing the Cup paraded around the pitch, surely that would have appealed to the kids?

They seem to think that was one of the best atmospheres at Withdean last night...was it that good? http://northstandchat.com/showthread.php?t=172146 ...couple of comments on ours.

Don't forget...the only place for a pre-match drink...

You seriously need some therapy.

Great idea, will unfortunately get a lot of attention from Mr Plod...and didn't a certain Mr Illingsworth start like this all those years ago? The all new 'Saints Trust' may just be around the corner
-
I've heard visitors say similar things regarding St Marys. We love it tho!
-
Got to agree with this, just that at any one time you could hear about 4 different songs being song in different areas. The only time everyone was in unison was for a couple of "C'mon you Reds" and "We're by far the Greatest Team....". Not one decent OWTS, let alone a slow one! The stadium's just too vast to get everyone doing the same thing. Probably the most heard vocal yesterday was from all the day-trippers constantly shouting "SIT DOWN"................ Good day all the same.

...maybe we should all wear our England shirts just to wind up those 'sweaties' "Small town in Scotland, yer just a......"
