  1. They’re not on great form, one win in the last 8, but that was their last home game, 4-0 (nice score line) tonking of Palace. Don’t think Poch will be there much longer but will get a reaction out of them today after their midweek embarrassment, I‘ll be more than happy to walk away with a point.
  2. The Geordie got 12 months and a 6 year football ban for the same offence https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2475009/Newcastle-fan-Barry-Rogerson-jailed-12-months-punching-police-horse.html Some of ours got similar for rattling a fence a bit too hard. If the pony puncher walks away from this unscathed then there’s something very fishy going on.
  3. Oh dear, all that on top of a 4-nothing humiliation in their own backyard, this week really hasn’t gone well for ‘em, has it.
  4. Still 2 weeks away but Wolves almost sold out, just over 100 left of the 2,400 allocation. Think we can get another block if they all go and that looks likely.
  5. Correct. The same nght of the Ted Bates tribute which they couldn't respect. Why the OB didn't prosecute when thy had it all on film f'k only knows. He could have been done for under a number of offences, not least indecent exposure for getting his spratt out in front of minors. He's a freak.
  6. It wouldn't be for me, but the club should look at lying on some free coaches for this, it's a particularly long sh*te journey at the best of times but for doing it twice in a few days probably deserves rewarding.
  7. I'm surprised they're not holding this "scummer" up as a bit of an hero as they love a camera down there.
  8. How sh*t must QPR have been to lose to those ****s in the round before?
  9. Only 5 arrests, that must have included the Saints mush who jumped into their herberts and their pony-puncher. I trust the OB were filming all the skates rattling the low roadside barriers as our fans strolled past unchallenged, plenty of Saints fans got the 5am knock and even prison for that.
  10. Shame he wasn't the big 4-0. Still, p*mpey-pony-pumpers 0 v SOUTHAMPTON 4 Fook knows when this grin's gonna leave my face?
  11. Some on here should stop picking the bones out of any player who they felt didn't quite meet their high standards and just enjoy stuffing the moment. 4 in their backyard with no reply, wipes out 2010. Rename Thornhill to Four-nil, the campaign starts here.
  12. Never, have so many cousins been seen in the same place at the same time.
  13. Bumpety-bump....
  14. The OB may feel heavy rain could help their operation. They'll be plenty who wouldn't hang around getting soaked so may keep the streets clearer than usual - and less moody defeated skates hanging back after.
  15. I think they'll come out all guns blazing, they'll be aware we're slow starters with poor first halves in most games this season. Their excited fans will be up for it at the start and may use that for momentum and look for an early goal. Then shut up shop and take their chances. We need to hit them from the off.
  16. For these reasons I don't think it would be postponed, if there's any real chance, it would need to be called off by lunchtime.
  17. That's a skate thing. But I was there in 84 with 9,000 others, and it's still as sweet today as it was 35 years ago
  18. Their pitch is a bit notorious for waterlogging but I can't see it being postponed unless the decision could be made very early, they can control crowds to an extent if they're inside the ground with controlled movement of rivals before and after but if it was called off late they'll be thousands of fans milling around all over. It's also being billed as the most expensive Police operation in Hampshire, they won't want to be doing it twice.
  19. I’d send it back, that sounds like exactly the reason the first batch we’re scrapped.
  20. I'd like to think we're all forever grateful for what Leon did for this football club, and he deserves to honoured in some long-lasting way but I think a statue is a bit OTT, a plaque in a prominent location would suffice. IMO.
  21. Sublime. Some of those defenders had to pay to get back in................
  22. Very sad news. Almost an unsung hero in our hour of need, and he gave us a fantastic Ted Bates statue after that first effort. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Mr Crouch
  23. He was sat in the Itchen that night with a few others, he kept a low profile early on but then decided to stand up and take his jacket off to reveal his shirt. The stewards jumped on him to make him cover it up but the smug **** just took it off and stood there with his tatts. But he just drew the attention of some Saints lads who went and had a 'word'. After he was held in the concourse surrounded by stewards and OB to stop anyone having a pop and eventually escorted out to a van that pulled up right outside to pick him up. He probably did the same this time, quietly driven right up to the stadium, he jumps out gets under the CCTV and then starts giving it the big'un by the turnstiles. Then cries like a baby to the media.
  24. Did it get to members? Amazed if it did.
  25. Probably best to book some time off work and spend the afternoon on the island. I believe they have a beach, a pier and funfair, an aquarium and some old boats. That should kill a few hours and then a leisurely stroll to the match. Simple, what could go wrong?
