Just finished my first season with Norwich and came 8th. My current team is pretty much Norwich's first 11 with the addition of J-Rod. Playing the formation everyone seems to on here and Grant Holt is an absolute beast. Badly need to strengthen the defence though. Only signing so far is Kyle Naughton on a permanent deal. Looking at Nathan Redmond as well from Brum. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Got to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while. 1) Why would he go to Norwich? 2) How on earth would Norwich have enough cash to offer him 70k a week? 3) If they were going to offer a player 70k a week then they'd go for someone that was more proven than Lambert. Obviously everyone on SWF is in a better position to know about the state of the club than someone who has seen first hand what goes on behind the scenes and spoken to those who have great ambition for the club. He doesn't actually say it will definitely happen just that it is what we are striving for. If the article has said Holmes tips Saints for midtable obscurity then the usual suspects would be on here spitting blood. But as usual certain posters on here feel the need to mock everything and try and make it into something negative because obviously they know better. I for one find it encouraging he has said these things, whether I think it will happen in reality is another matter but got to aim high.

Its really not, do you honestly think Butland deserves to be in the squad over Kelvin? He's only played a handful of games on loan at a league 2 side. I think its fair enough to be looking to the future but seems very convinient that the kid has immediately come to Hodgson's attention since he appointed the Brum keeping coach for England.

I think its a bit of a shame not to give him another year. He made a crucial contribution to us being where we are now and even with Sharp et al you felt that he would probably be in the team if fit. With 7 subs available in the Prem I felt he was worth a place in the squad. Looking at the released list, I think we're going to have to do some major work in the transfer market this summer to fill the gaps in the squad. Especially the keeper situation.

Which is what exactly? The comments aren't nasty...just saying we may as well change the title to something less definite seeing as the rest of us who aren't 'in the know' have not one shread of evidence to back up the assertion made in the thread title.
