Exactly, this bringing off one of the front 3 for JWP when we aren't winning has got to stop.
Bringing off Gaston told me we weren't going to score v Norwich.
He may not have been great but our biggest threat I thought.
I think:
Liverpool: Draw,
Chelsea: Loss,
Reading: Draw,
West Ham: Win,
Swansea: Loss,
West Brom: Win,
Spurs: Loss,
Sunderland: Loss,
Stoke: Win.
That would give us 39...might be enough.
I'm sorry, but if that is your 'constructive criticism' then you clearly do not go to games.
Muscling bigger more physical players off the ball and winning headers against the odds are two of his greatest strengths.
Did you actually watch the Man City game?
Still makes your point incorrect though.
We played ****e against Wigan then outplayed Man U.
Next time you want to make a dig at someone for taking a positive out of a likely defeat get your facts straight.
Gaston is quite clearly a fantastic player. Was brilliant against Arsenal and dictated things against Newcastle. He is a passenger in away games I agree.
For some to say he should be dropped or that he hasn't shown himself as one of our best players in any game this season is sheer lunacy. But then half of these "critics" probably don't even watch the games
Maybe, although even today he cost us at least one goal with some terrible defensive/positional play. Don't get me wrong I think he is a great player but not quite there defensively at times.
Got absolutely murdered at Stoke as well.
