I can't see now how this deal won't go through, it seems all done and dusted. Which makes RK's statement yesterday all the more plausible. Surely to sanction a sale immediately after giving such an interview, would be a major PR disaster.

Amazing how some people are refusing to let themselves believe this is happening, even in the face of all the credible evidence. Basically if we were the buying club about to sign someone with this level of evidence, no one would be doubting it. Let's face facts - he's going, and probably by the weekend. Very rare that this many credible news sources and individual local reporters, ITK people etc say a transfer is happening imminently - when it isn't. He's gone, and it's a bloody joke if it's only 4m. Krueger must realise surely what a prat he's going to look. Get a feeling he is just KL's puppet.

Discuss. Early worrying times, he may not have been able to prevent Poch leaving, but really hoping he'll turn it round and at least wade through the cheesy soundbites to pull out a decent proven manager. His awards speech was in the Alan Partridge league, all he needed was to pierce his foot on a spike and hand out an award for "Best Christ". However he is attracting huge amounts of stick on here as per title to which he probably hasn't helped himself, almost trying TOO hard it seems to deliver re-assuring statements which ultimately have the opposite effect. Hopefully is just bedding his way in, but the concern remains that with no one pulling the club in the right direction, we are in danger of becoming a weak, easily manipulated club again just asking bigger the clubs which hole they'd prefer to shaft us in first.

The best bit for me was that, having played consistently well pretty much all season (even in the games we've lost) with no real let up in intensity, he still questions the manager. Just who exactly is alpine wanting to be the manager then? If he isn't that happy with MP after this season then wow. Incredible. I think we could have Guardiola in charge and Alpine would still pick holes in the management. Also, these posts are always created after a loss. Had we got a point on Saturday, then he'd never have posted this. And Saturdays result had no actual bearing on the context of his post.

Golden thread surely. Already apprehensive about next season? Jesus Christ

I don't think it is too early to say actually. This test is a nailed on defeat so that's 2-0. We never cope in Perth on the bouncy fast wicker especially with Johnson in this mood so it's looking like 3-0 after 3. Personally I reckon it's worth a cheeky flutter on 5-0
-
Utter embarrassment. Avoiding a 5-0 defeat will be some achievement at this rate

Tremlett proving to everyone why he should never be picked again. Joke of a selection, based purely on his form 3 years ago. Incredible decision from a professional sports selection committee to pick a player solely based on that.

He's one of the saddest individuals ever known to football forums. Clearly has nothing else in his life, the amount of time and effort he spends correcting people, researching facts, bragging about stuff points scoring etc. probably just a student in his mid 20's is my guess

Was 91/92 cup run season, we'd beaten united on pens at OT in the round before. Loved that Barry Horne goal, the goals from that game are on YouTube now. I think Bolton had just scored in the 89th minute and thought they'd won it, before Horne picked the ball up 40 yards out a couple of minutes into injury time....main reason I also love it the fans who got onto the pitch dancing around wildly under the east stand. Epic

Pathetic little man, giving it large over the Internet. I think you're clueless, you think I am. End of. No need for personal insults

Adkins bought Ramirez, and Ramirez is ****. I've just translated for everyone what lard was trying to say. He didn't really rate Adkins if anyone didn't know

Don't waste your breath. The guy is clueless.

What kind of saints fan is this? Serious question. I often here Alpine banging on about all The Über **** Swinger fans on here. Are these a progression of the so-called happy clappy brigade? Or just a new brand of boastful super fan who knows everything and prophesies his/her commitment to all things Saints.

Quite. I remember in 06/07 when we had 26,000 ish for a 2nd round league cup game against Yeovil and price was a tenner. We'll be looking at 10,000 absolute max here, more likely to be 8,500-9,000 -
Even more embarassing than the people who can't go 90 mins without eating are those who will happily miss large chunks of the match in order to fill their faces. These people actually prioritise the need to get down to the kiosk on 35 mins in order to beat the que. Anyone would think that food in the UK is in short supply they're attending the last supper. I mean, seriously? Pay £35 to watch the match and then bugger off down to the concourse and gladly miss 10-15% of the game itself? For what? The chance to stuff your face with many items which will available outside the ground and in the town before and after the game, with much less queing time to boot. It's embarassing watching half the stadium empty from 35 mins onwards until the half time whistle, the atmosphere is like a morgue in certain areas between that time. Then you get them many of them returning on 50 mins and squeezing past and obscuring the view of those of us who actually want to watch the 90 mins, Pasty/Sausage Roll/Hot dog/Burger in hand, with a high chance they'll spill some onto you as they waddle past you to their seats. People like this don't deserve a ticket, clearly have more money than sense or just simply aren't that interested in the football and see it as a day out to get some fresh air and eat some junk food.

Make sure you check out the catering while you're up there, and get back to us with marks out of 10 on each item consumed.
