  1. Mark Kelly is a terrible summariser. Typical Pompey cockney wannabe accent. Also says "yeah absolutely" at the start of every sentence, and that's no exaggeration, literally every time he speaks
  2. Read his last comment on the Villa prediction. "If Villa keep all their players they would come straight back up". **** me, and he gets paid for this insight.
  3. Wonder if Reading still worry Delldays. Funny when viewing the fixtures, that's the first response, comedy gold. Reading were always a poor side who had a brief period of being ridiculously lucky. Were Never gonna stay up
  4. Duh duh duh Holy Goalie.....
  5. Lawro rarely predicts any team to score more than 2 goals in his predictions. He very occasionally predicts the odd 3-0 win for Man Utd or City depending on their rivals, but thats it. He usually sticks with 2-0 or 2-1, 1-0 or 1-1. Percentages predictions
  6. Think its time for a new game...as in the title. Saints v Chelsea 0-2. You know it, i know it.
  7. They've got 33 points. Forget them now, they're safe after Saturdays win. Embarrassing ourselves to keep including them in the relegation mix
  8. Not a Mancini fan if I had to take a wild guess?
  9. It's a good job you're absolutely ****ing clueless then

    Le God

Very much so. Though you can only be a true fan if you say you were welling up at video which features various defining memories of being a saints fan. By the way, that video had me in tears

    Le God

Brilliant compilation. I wonder how long it'll be until someone says they had tears in their eyes watching it and were welling up. Even though clearly they weren't.

    West Ham

Pretty much my view on it. They still need their recent bad run to continue for another few games until they're in any real danger, and any win in the next 3 games probably keeps them just about out of trouble. Still, if West Ham are in trouble, does this mean Man Utd are beginning to look over their shoulders aswell?

    West Ham

Starting to get sucked into the relegation battle. From what I remember their run in is the hardest of any team in the bottom half aswell. Battered tonight for the majority of the game, yet Big Sam reckons they were "fantastic". BBC stats would suggest they were anything but. I still think they will just about scrape it, as they probably only need 7-8 more points, but they won't want to lose their next 2 or 3 games.
  14. West Ham away was pretty dire, surprised that hasn't been mentioned yet
  15. Regardless of the level we are playing at, Chaplow will always provide the necessary bite in midfield.
  16. Yes, that's the main reason, must be solely because of that. Nothing to do with the fact they're both way short of premier league quality. This is also ignoring the fact that Barnard was heavily involved in our league 1 promotion campaign months after his nightclub incident. But yep I think you're spot on with this.
  17. That if you check forum login statistics , they show that Alpine Saint's most frequent logging in time is at approx 4:52pm on a Saturday following a Saints defeat, closely followed by a 30 second period on a matchday immediately after saints conceding a goal
  18. Super dream. I'd have cried aswell
  19. I'll start us off.....(just a bit of fun) 1. Teams above us are generally worse than us and will always be more likely than us to go down. 2. If we're on a bad run, any player who is injured during that period is suddenly our best player and it's his absense that is causing our bad form. 3. Negative news stories are false, positive news stories are true. end of. 4. Tadanari Lee must be forever held in high esteem for looking fairly decent in 4-5 games in the championship and for scoring the 4th goal in a 4-0 win over Derby. He'd be awesome in the prem! 5. We must react to a non first team player being shipped out on loan to someone in a lower league by sating the following "Good move for him, about his level" 6....???
  20. Frankie Bennett? good turn of pace
  21. Simon Charlton Hopefully this thread descends into everyone just randomly naming anyone that comes into their head that only played a season or 2 for us and wasn't completely ****.
  22. Yep, just before we signed him. Their chairman didn't want to pay the £1m price, said it was way too much for a 27 (at the time) year old with no sell on value.
  23. When looking at the fixtures, I think we're as good as down

    BBC Predictor

Lol worst table ever! Pure comedy. As if anyone on 30 points will stay up! You must have based pretty much all your predictions on a "top half beats bottom half" basis, then gave saints a few bonus points to ensure we stayed up. Great work
  25. 38 points this season will be enough IMO. You only have to look at the current points per games ratio of the team in 18th to work out that the cut-off point is not going to increase so dramatically that a point per game total at the season's end will send you down.
