As per Alpine's prediction on another thread, would anyone settle for this should we end up in the play offs? If at the start of the season anyone had said to me we'd end up in the play-offs but get butt-****ed by Cardiff, i would have gladly taken that.....so maybe in the context of the whole season this wouldn't be seen as too much of a bad thing. We'd just better make sure we remember our lube.

Absolutely spot on. Alpine brings nothing to the forum other than trying to cause division and a constantly, ridiculous over the top negative view. In previous years some of it was wholly justified, but this year he has shown himself go be a total embarrassment and I honestly think he some inner issues. If we aren't winning every game he panics and gets abusive to others who have more of a level head. This is literally every game we don't win. It's a total insult to the team who've done so well for most of the season. The guy is an absolute joke, and I bet no one would miss him around here. Sorry had to get this off my chest

Let's be honest the decision not to send off Hines was an absolute disgrace and momentum changed massively as a result of it. Fairly sure we'd have got at least a point if the **** of a ref had done his job properly. Refereeing like that is not acceptable. He saw the foul, he gave the decision, he then decided not to follow the letter of the law which has ultimately cost us. Spineless

Still doesn't make it right though. The general standard of refereeing and decision making is abysmal in general

At times v the skates and last nights early ball in could have result in Ricky getting on the end of it early doors, problem last night from both AL and SD was the early ball in the box, catch them on the back foot, let's not give their centre Halfs time to set! When who have a player like Lambert you have got to get crosses in! AL is a huge talent and will only get better, let's hope the gaffer gets hold of him in the week.

They knew how we would play that we would see a lot of the ball, they hit us with 2 real sucker punches on the break. Me too. Everyone seems to assume they will go down easily with a whimper, but they have as easy a run in as you could wish for with many very winnable games and are seemingly under no pressure due to everyone writing them off
