I think that the arrival of CBE (Chaplow Boily Egg) has provided the much needed competition in midfield. All of the midfield played much better yesterday knowing that they had to to keep their place in the team now that there is true quality on the bench. -

The title of the thread was Guly, not Gully, and how to create/fill one with various body parts. Anyway, continuing down this new direction, would your friend be happy to stir your custard?

Personally, i still think the new manager will be MON.
-
Oh well, I guess it boiled down to believing someone that claimed to be ITK. I'm just glad its finally scotched all those MON rumours, was starting to get eggstremely whisked off with all the pickled brained plonkers that actually thought he was going to join us. Hopefully we will also be less easily beaten with the stability a new manager can bring. And finally I hope all the oeufs that have been slating Nicola will just accept that he is the chairman, and as such has free range to do as he pleases at the club. Thank you.

Its times like this that I miss the highly intellectual insight of Dave Benson Phillips, I'm sure he would have something to say on this topic. Anyway, I think Austin is a twonky gaylord!!!!

Why Cortese has learnt from one of Lowe's Mistakes

Who exactly are we going to attract to get us out of league 1 then? Yep, League 1. Stop living in the past, we are no longer a prem club who can pick and choose from high profile appointments. There seems to be a hell of a lot of saints fans on here who dont have a ****ing clue about football below the "big names" and well known managers, and take the view of "well if I havent really heard much about him then he must be ****". Embarassing it really is. Give Adkins a chance, i sometimes wonder whether we deserve to have a decent manager if everyone is gonna jump on his back just because he isn't in the mould of Mourinho, Alf Ramsey, SAF etc. Other clubs must be laughing their heads off at us, being in League 1 and STILL getting on our high horses about a succesful manager FROM THE LEAGUE ABOVE. -
Dunno what Merrington is on about, that sounded like another dour , uninspiring, lack of ideas, crap performance. No real chances last 20 minutes. Still, according to DM , that the "best performance under Dean Wilkins"... Thank **** for that, i can sleep easier now. What a joke
-
Is this the most predictable ****ing result of the season? What were the chances of firing another blank and going home with 0 points? Pretty high!
-
I think that bit discredits an already ridiculous post 100%. I assume this post is tongue in cheek
-
Mmmm, I saw on SSN that Hoddle has declared himself ready to return to management......
-
Some of the posts criticising the guy before he's even got the job are embarassing to be honest. He's done a good job at s****horpe with no money. The arrogance of some of our fans who still have a "Premier League" chip on their shoulder is cringeworthy. We have a manager who's tasted success at this level twice about to join us, is young and ambitious. Not many other League 1 clubs would probably be able to entice him. Yes thats right, League ONE clubs. The division our club is currently in.
-
Spot on. Some of the pro Keegan posts on here have been embarassing. He has also been out of management for a while and his heart wouldn't appear to in it anymore. As soon as the going got tough he is likely to bugger off anyway (judging from his past history). Laughable that the fact he has got promotion with filthy-rich at the time Fulham and then Man City was seen to give him some sort of hero status. I'll admit what he did in his early managerial career with newcastle was pretty special, but since then he hasn't done much to get excited about, and appears a complete loose canon when things begin to get difficult.
