I can't help but feel the fates are conspiring against our fishy friends and could dish out some treatment that in a moment of weakness I felt might even be crueller than they deserved. Going out of existence would be harsh (at least for the decent people among their following) but having a defeat against us, of all people, in their final game.... Then I saw a picture of W******d on the telly and realised that in some cases it's about what they deserve.

Admin is being talked about a lot but it isn't an option for PFC to apply for as it was for us, once subject to a winding up order, as they are. Unless one of the creditors can apply? Perhaps one of our in house pounds, shillings and pence experts could explain what the options are. My own understanding is that nwo they have to persuade HMRC to agree to a compromise (lump sum plus in stone repayment plan), find someone willing to pay off their debts or lend them cash to do so (which they can only hope to repay if someone is willing to take the kind of approach to investment my wife takes when selecting horse in the Grand National because she likes the name or it's a pretty horse) or the registrar to somehome change her view that they're trading in a position of complete insolvency. So it's find a get out of gaol free card or liquidation. Is this right?

Even a miserable sod like me would look jovial if I had about $4billion in the bank and my team had just got to a cup final. Hang on I am halfway there :smt033

Probably no takers but the idea made me happy enough that I will buy you a pint if it happens

In Zimbabwe?
-
Well, he certainly knows the way
-
So if you lose by it bring an action against PFC and apply for a winding up petition if they don't pay. Yours could be the honour

Noah's Workshop in there - I suppose the Ark business has been slack since about 1500BC and some interest couple of summers back when we had all the flooding they've really been struggling to stay afloat

Indeed. so far as I can tell his one redeeming quality is consistency. You know what you're going to get if he takes over your club. FFS did he learn nothing from the Leeds experience. I just hope he goes to Everton next. Sticks in the craw that he'll have paid himself a handsome salary for wrecking another club, doesn't it?

Well they're 1 down already. Not Big Ken though. But we're winning which will cheer them up no end as if they go out of business I guess they will probably start supporting us on mass, being their local club

Reduce your hours to 1 day per week. That'd do it, and you'd get more tiem for golf and suchlike

Not wishing to go off topic but doesn't the prospect of Mr & Mrs Patel being liquidated sound a bit harsh and a bit like the kind of thing that happened under Pol Pot?
-
Talks have stalled as per skysports news. Not sure from what more knowledgeable posters have stated elsewhere that admin an option from their side with a WU petition scheduled.
-
Might well be able to do that. It's in Leeds in June/July time isn't it?

I'd love to have a crack. Long time since my last IFC game but one more outing against our fishy friends would be fun.

Dead right, if we won promotion and had a good cup run I wouldn't care if the players did it wearing ball gowns and tiaras
