  1. Foxy

    SWF v.s PO

If there's room for adding what can bes tbe described as a touch of experience I'd love a chance to play against our fishy friends once more (this time without having to swallow so many pain killers I rattle when I move as was the case at Moneyfields)
  2. Sky reporting that they've now missed a deadlike to pay £9million to Gaydamak. Ooops.
  3. Thanks, I'll take you up on that. Over those well earned drinks we can discuss whether the implication was choice or preference. Or just how crap the fishy lot have become
  4. Fair enough, I stand corrected. However, I don't see anything to suggest the two were mutually exclusive. I'd prefer you to buy me a beer rather than a cider, but that doesn't suggest there's anything to stop you buying either, both, or even a snakebite.
  5. Struggling with the rhetorical nature of the thread are we?
  6. In all the excitement over the draw I wondered where a game against our fishy rivals comes in people's priorities?
  7. I'd bite his hand off. But just for the fun of watching him squeal with pain :smt093 OK, not really
  8. Easiest way is to get a mate back in the UK to give you his skyplayer login/pwd then sign up for a free trial on a UK proxy service
  9. He was part of Liebherr but left (I guess cashing in his shares) to start his own business. It's probably a decent guess that a fair chunk of his wealth came from the first career
  10. Ironically enough Mrs F is from Leeds. I wish I could persuade her to be a bit dirtier from time to time [-o
  11. If that's your prediction for the MK Dons game I don't much fancy your chances
  12. I can manage, a soft back heel. Nearly went a over t trying, mind you
  13. Ooops, gutted
  14. That runner from S Africa?
  15. As mentioned to some of you at the SMS match I'm putting together a team for a pretty light hearted over 35s tournament being played in Antigua 27th to 29th November this year. As football tours this is about as exotic as it gets and those of us already committed to playing are plannign on bookending the weekend with a few days at the Jolly Beach hotel on the island, taking various WAGS, offspring, friends and assorted hangers on for a week or fortnight's holiday. We have a few players signed up but need more to have a team plus some subs (vital given local temperatures) so are looking for a few more. Requirements are more about willingness to join and a fair stomach for beer than footballing talent and all are welcome. You'd think this would be a very expensive adventure but given we have a few people coming who are in the travel industry we can get a pretty good deal - something in the region of £700 per person for a week all inclusive. PM me if you are interested Cheers Dave
  16. I'd say the same but the only chance of that is if someone asked 'did you see what the idiot Foxy got up to in the pub afterwards' and then Big Phil started telling tales of misadventures in Dubai and making his good lady drink through a hangover
  17. Interesting to see no number 7 yet. Dare we hope Pards has someone in mind who would be a fitting wearer of that shirt? Or is it just that someone with a worrying command of counting did the allocations?
  18. All credit to Munto Finance. I like to see busienssmen with a sense of humour. I mean, Sven...........40k per week.........it has to be some kind of ingenius pastiche on the state of modern football, right?
  19. Can we please insist our player is now known as ***** brought to you by Saintsweb forum and indeed as we will own him can we tajke turns at having him come round to cut our grass?
  20. When you both go to the pub together do you call it a Pride event?
  21. My concern isn't lack of ITK suggestions, more that noone is confident enough to put FACT at the end of any suggestion. Worrying.
  22. Quick point regarding the long ball discussion. Has it occurred to anyone that there are crap teams who play the big hoof - it doesn't guarantee success
  23. .........and they used to have proper boots in your day, didn't they?
  24. Or perhaps the man they ahve in mind is currently in employment and they have to tread carefully to minimise compensation or to wait for him to reach a milestone in his contract? Face it guys, we have no idea what's going on. personally I would be happy to see nickh get the job. I felt he was more than a little unlucky in the forum game and if some of his players' fitness was questionable that is more down to his backroom team
  25. Not who I'd pick, I'd like to hope we can do a lot better under Markus.
