what do we think of Yoshida's defensive headering....seemed to find Newcastle players far too often, especially in the first half.....also, when in the box, should we have been looking to pull the trigger a bit sooner rather than playing it around and trying to pass it in to the net.......not looking for negatives, but they were the two things niggling yesterday, especially at half time.....loved the 'Nigel Adkins, sh*gs his own wife' chants....

exactly....we lined up a scratch team against a side who would've seen it as their chance of a scalp and to challenge for some silverware......let's face it, we're not going to win the league, the FA Cup is unrealistic at best, and yet we threw in a side that had no chance of getting a result and who played like it.....I like NA, always have, but he's coming across as way out of his depth at this level.....I'd rather he stayed and continued with the stability that we've been lacking for so long but he needs to wise up and fast before it's too late....

absolute ****ing bull****.....tonight's performance would be unacceptable from any club.....I don't expect us to win every game, but I do expect us to run our ******** into the ground and give it everything we've got....this was simply not good enough

I'm sorry, but under no circumstances would I ever entertain Redknapp coming back here.....his treatment of our club when he was here was appalling....his managerial record is remarkably over-inflated and he is nowhere near as good as far too many people make out.....I honestly can't see NC employing him as their personalities seem too much at odds....I'm not sure what I think at the moment....I like Adkins in a lot of respects and appreciate what he has done for us....I'm not sure whether he is doing what he can with what he has or whether he simply isn't up to Premiership management.....yes, everyone knew we had weaknesses to address during the transfer window but with NC in charge, I'm never sure exactly who is choosing which players to buy....I dunno....

what I find so hard to stomach is that we sound so flat and lacking in passion.....where's the fight gone? I don't care what team we field, but I expect some guts from my team....

at least we just managed an attempt on goal....shame it's taken us 46 minutes to muster it....
