This is such a ridiculous argument, lol. If formations and tactics do nothing, why does every single club in the history of football have a manager? If it’s unimportant and only down to players then surely they’d save money on a mangers wages? Why do some managers make a huge difference to a team instantly?

The question is, would THB do well in other championship teams? He has dropped off massively, but he is one that can still do a job at champ level Swap out one of Cov’s centre backs for THB and they wouldnt lose too much. Our problems run far deeper than him, in my opinion. It’s almost all the players around him, the midfield, the keeper, full backs. No CB will thrive in this team because we are fucking toilet.

Only caveat to this is he has been promoted twice. And looked good doing so. But this season he has been abysmal, like the rest of our defence. I don’t think 3 at the back suits him at all. One more reason why it’s absurd that it’s all we do.

I don’t understand how the club can supposedly be “data driven”, yet consistently ignore all of the data and copious evidence that we have a complete numpty in goal. So disappointing as a fan having to watch this guy fuck up week, after week, after week.

You can’t just flick a switch and turn a poor team into a good one. So far he’s done better than anyone could have hoped for, results wise. I agree we are poor in the second half. I also would prefer a 3 man midfield. But stuff takes time and he has to work with what he has been given.

I’ve disagreed with Fabrice on here about Martin, but he’s right here. Some of you have absolutely ridiculous expectations. We are the form team in the league. Of course you should always look for improvements, and there is a lot to work on, but the negativity on here is ridiculous.

Completely agree with this. It’s not a disaster like it was under Still. There was still a lot to be positive about today.

Bit harsh. 6 wins in 8 since he came in. Refreshed the whole team. Would have got a point today if the ref had seen the handball. We are not good enough to win every single week. We looked very good first half, and I have to say I am starting to think that Will Still fucked up pre-season fitness training.

Can’t really blame Ekhert, been happening for a long time. I voted for a striker as our more important signing in the transfer window. I still think if we had a target man that could actually control a football, we’d be a completely different team. Arma has been good recently but when he fades we offer absolutely nothing.
