  1. See ya Vic. Don't believe the hype!
  2. Point proven Ronald. Time to make the change.
  3. Have to agree. Wanyama jogging about when giving the ball away again!!
  4. I think we've been decent up until the penalty area. We've looked the more threatening with their only chances coming from our sloppy play at the back. A single piece of quality will win this most likely. I'd like to see us go for it and bring Mane on. Not sure who I would take off tho.
  5. I didn't mean to single out Long as such just highlighting both teams are lacking that instinctive finisher. Long is a trier no doubts about that.
  6. The one I made a few posts previously. Both teams missing a decent striker to finish off the chances. Mane to come on and turn this game as the only real quality in either team.
  7. Long proving my point expertly in last couple of minutes.
  8. Calamity defending again but got away with it. Both teams missing that killer striker to finish off tidy play.
  9. F**k me we should be behind there
  10. Ray Houghton co-commentator on my stream asking why Wanyama isn't busting a gut to get on the end of that Prowsey free kick. Coz he can't be arsed Ray!!!
  11. Just said on my stream that it was due to turning up late to a team meeting.
  12. The Thai channel went down for me just before KO so on the other channel now.
  13. Have we had any decent chances to get the second this half? Not watching either but following on here. Keep those updates coming lads :-) much appreciated.

    Wanyama

Anyone else think Wanyama's stock has fallen?? At one point last year there was talk of £20m+ from the likes of Arsenal. Do people still think he is in that bracket? I personally don't.
  15. I'm 40-something and priced out of the game more down to location and travelling expenses. However, the result means everything to me. I've watched us play awful and win and it sets my mood for days after. Similarly I've watched us lose and by Christ I'm a miserable sod for days after. My poor wife is expecting me to grow out of it soon but alas I think I'm stuck with this curse. I never view the games as entertainment as it's always been and always will be about the result. Yes, I figure I am still a child but that's the way it is. When I do go to the games I get right into it as I can't go that often. I relish the prospect of belting out OUR anthem. I think of my grandad who used to take me and how he used to belt it out. It's very emotive for me. I'm a soppy sod tho and I tell you if I still lived down there I'd be far worse than I am from a distance. Big three points today please Saints or you could potentially ruin my Christmas!!!!
  16. It's a bloody shame tho when you think that we were doing similar things to Leicester last season. Mixing it with the big boys. Although to be fair I never felt we were playing THAT well whilst doing it. Leicester on the other hand look very tidy indeed. Like I said, bloody shame it isn't us again having a good go.
  17. A big Schneiderlin-sized hole in this team. Any team would be weaker losing their best player.
  18. Have we set up with 5 at the back? Is Mane alongside Long or is he floating about behind with Davis?
  19. If anyone wants to provide decent updates that would be much appreciated. On the road today and 5live are covering the City game. I'm not driving btw :-)
  20. What is all that hacky sac catching stuff about? Some sort of spatial awareness thing or is it reactions? Genuine question.
  21. Many thanks to those above who provided reports/insight into the current youth happenings. Much appreciated.
  22. Hmm That is a little confusing. I get that they are separate entities now and the fact new subscribers won't be able to subscribe to sportsmania seems to suggest that will be phased out. Not clear to me. I like the fact he is going to update the repo tho so I don't have to do anything :-). It should auto update after he's done with his server software stuff.
  23. Thanks for the advice re: pulling the power plug guys. I do sometimes reboot using the kodi menu but I've just gotten into the habit now and it seems to be working. I like the idea of attaching it to a usb port on my television. I will investigate this option.
  24. This may or may not help people using raspberry pi 2. I leave my Pi on all the time but when I want to watch sports mania I pull the power lead out and do a quick reboot. Reboots take seconds on a pi. After that I get great streaming and almost 100% reliability. I don't have to reboot the pi for anything else, like genesis etc. I've just got into the habit of rebooting it for the sports.
  25. VVD in that last 10 minutes was immense with the exception of his run upfield which Koeman was very f**ked off with - and rightly so. Great win albeit not playing our absolute best. Though Sunderland were awful and are in for a long season.
