  1. "He is considered prone to injury , so came in the last season to just ten Bundesliga matches (35)." Hmm.
  2. Yes it will. However, a word of caution to anyone getting either an MX android/openELEC, Kindle Fire or indeed a Raspberry Pi to run Kodi. It isn't a nice user interface. Once you get the hang of it its a breeze. I am into my tech and it took me a few hours to really get to grips with it. That said, if you are up for doing some youtube research and watching a few videos it will all become very familiar very quickly... just don't expect it to be like an iphone. Put it another way.. my mum can use her iphone and can switch on her laptop and fire up Chrome.... she wouldn't have a f**king clue with kodi or any of the devices that run it. Don't be put off... youtube is full of excellent videos and sportsmania even has a video on how to setup their addon. Important things to note: The box you buy doesn't really matter. MX boxes can run Android and a form of linux called (openELEC). Kindle Fire I'm not sure about and Raspberry Pi can run openELEC and OSMC. I personally favour openELEC as its linux and is very fast. Then you have Kodi which is open source software formerly called XBMC which was the media player developed for the XBOX 1 (believe it or not). You then have repos which is short for repositories. These are generally XML files contained inside ZIP files that are links to the streaming content such as films and t.v. shows. Inside the repos are addons. It is these addons which you add in order to browse the streaming content available. I only have an addon called Genesis installed (already mentioned by someone else). It has all the films and t.v. shows like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad etc. I also have the sportsmania addon installed (formerly sportsnationhd) for the football. That's all I use and all I have installed. You need a little USB keyboard to interface with the box. This is the kind of youtube video that will help you understand this better than I can explain it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh3ijoO1rMg Hope this helps someone as I was clueless when I first got into this. I purchased a pre-installed MX android device to begin with. It was all setup and just needed an hdmi cable. This is a good way to get into it. I have since graduated to custom installs onto a Pi and it really is quite easy once you have a go.
  3. Ah right..a lot of that sort of thing goes on. Volunteer QA is still a viable way into the industry. A little exploitative IMO but I guess you are coming at it from an enthusiast rather than career perspective. I don't play FM but judging by your rampant quest for the stats on here I would wager Saints' profile on Football Manager is the most complete of all teams
  4. Do you work for Sports Interactive MLG? I work in the games industry and just wondered.
  5. Since there is very little loyalty towards the supporters or indeed the shirt any more it would be nice for players to respect the business side of things and help a club that has furthered their careers maximise their transfer fee by signing improved terms. Or does running down your contract actually make the player money? Do they maximise their signing on fee or something? I suppose it makes them more attractive if the fee is going to be much smaller. Didn't Walcott and Chamberlain sign improved deals to effectively get Saints a bigger transfer fee??? I may of made that up but something in back of my mind says to me that it happened.
  6. Well done on introducing your granddaughter! I remember taking my son when he was about the same age (4 years old) and was glad I had a decent supply of Haribo... I had to wire him up on sugar to get him to be remotely interested. Thankfully he's a lot better now (11 years old) and actually wants to go.
  7. Reading on their forums a few are happy with the shift to a more attractive style of play. Mclaren insisting on playing it on the floor presumably. However, a few questioning their players ability on the ball and of course as mentioned their defence is still questionable with the much maligned Williamson being particularly at fault/crap. Should be a decent game to watch but one with mistakes in it. I predict an entertaining score draw as both teams try to adjust to new players. We might sneak it if we get off to a decent start and our pace up front scares the life out of them. I can't remember the last time I was optimistic of getting anything up at St James'. That win last season has gone a long way to removing the hoodoo.
  8. Script error in the addon and website down.. Hope it's only for maintenance:-( Edit: it was maintenance:-)
  9. At last he's got that red shi*e off his back. You know nothing Brentan Rogers!!!!
  10. Surely this can't go on forever though... its quite popular now and loads of Saints on there. He's changed domains a few times and come back so maybe he's one step ahead. See how far my £20-odd gets me this season.
  11. Newcastle next opponent is Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday.
  12. Some EE promotion for some D-list celebrity football thing. I must be very old as I honestly don't know anyone else in this video apart from Le God! Apologies if Saint Armstrong has posted this already... I didn't see it.
  13. I like the 'Koeman takes us higher' refrain.. the rest not so much.
  14. This thread is starting to give chocoholics a bad name!
  15. I'm another £20 for 6 months subscriber. It was a bit hit and miss on my laptop and on an android stream box I got off Amazon. However, on iOS and on my raspberry Pi running Kodi it is awesome. I fully echo other comments regarding the customer service - it's better than anything I have experienced in any other company.
  16. Shades of Leatherface (the band from Sunderland) in there. Like.
  17. Max, I admire your optimism and charity as a relative newcomer Torres, well done very good Anyway, this is adding nothing to the discussion (neither did my original rant.. fair enough).
  18. It's boring. It's boring... its oh so f**king boring. Eighteen thousand posts.
  19. Just joining in with the general merriment.
  20. Hehe I've been very relaxed about this since about 6:30pm ;-)
  21. Pah! I still can't believe Branfoot got rid of Jimmy Case within days of getting the job. That fella was on a hiding to nothing after that display of ineptitude.
  22. Browsing the Manc redcafe forums (bored at work) I came across them discussing Clasie and a couple of contributions from Netherlands-based United fans caught my eye... contrasting but obviously with a United slant (especially the second quote) So all-in-all a fairly positive set of views with the obvious admission that he's not the tallest which has been discussed.
  23. By the sounds of it everything re Toby deal ended up very amicable between us and Atletico. They will take our millions if a deal is on don't worry about that.
