  1. Well Mexico!
  2. Are you referring to the fact he has put dedicated channels up 24/7?
  3. He passes me his tickets if he's not using them when I'm down so I can't complain too much
  4. It does make me chuckle at these posters passing themselves off as having insider info... just admit its rumour you read somewhere. My brother is very well connected at the club and tells me NOTHING. Never has and never will. I don't bother asking. Not that he would be privy to anything regarding player recruitment but he would possibly hear things and could pass them on. He doesn't. Therefore, despite having family connection with the club I am very much not ITK. Having said all that.. I hope Clasie signs rapido in order for us to begin integrating him into the system and team. Man United seemed very concerned about getting their signings done before their trip so I would hope we would follow suit (negotiations permitting of course).
  5. Gutted. We were crying our for a midfield since Jimmy Case left and Morgan certainly filled that void. Hope we don't have to wait quite as long for his replacement.

I am finding this harder and harder to bare as I grow older I have to admit. I have accepted it as you and fellow supporters have over the years but priorities in life change. I have to admit I am struggling... really struggling to see what the point of all this is any more.

I would say he is although he doesn't half love the negative aspects of being a Saints supporter and he also seems to really enjoy being obnoxious and melodramatic. I give him 10 out of 10 for commitment though.

They haven't offered enough money you mean?* *to the player or Atletico.
  12. He pulls on the stripes and steps on to the pitch... He's a Saint.

I think I saw it reported that the club would look to strike a deal with Ateltico regarding the transfer of Toby. If true then the club realised the players value had increased. The reason for the fee increasing is obviously down to Toby's form last season and the fact that other parties were interested, namely Tottenham. It's not hard to understand that in order to secure the player we would need to increase the agreed transfer fee IMO. One caveat to the above is that I also read somewhere (possibly bullsh*t, who knows?) that there had been little to no contact between Saints and Atletico. Again, if true Saints have been naive once more in trying to let the clock run down on the terms of the agreement. I/we have nothing concrete to go on but I would of liked to of seen Saints act decisively if any of my conjecture above carries any weight at all. IMO Saints could of entered into discussion with Atletico as soon as the season finished and discussed this agreement and the terms of it. Failure to do this seems like costing us a very, very good player. This is just my opinion and I am in no way presenting any of it as fact.. just a discussion on a forum folks.

I find it totally unbelievable to think Les hasn't tried to buy Toby for more than the agreed right-to-buy fee. It would be very misguided to sit back and assume we would get him for that price and even more misguided to try and stay quiet and let the clock tick down on the buy-out clause Atletico had. Very naive if true.
  15. Some gaps to fill in there pluto.. and a curve ball pic to boot. I like your style mush.
  16. I scoffed at ticket prices up here for his Apollo show. I just couldn't justify it despite what a legend he is. Ironically I was going to sell a guitar to fund the ticket price. Then I realised the stupidity of that.
  17. I thought that was their appeal? The normality of it all? Anyway, they may find that they very soon cross over the divide of authenticity as their popularity grows. It will be interesting to see if they can manage to stay grounded. I thought their disdain for the Featival was spot on along with Mark E Smith they didn't tow the 'happy clappy everything's cool' Glasto positivity which usually gets to me by mid afternoon on the Friday if I've not got well underway at the cider bus.
  18. Remember his double arms raised, high-knee-leg-pump celebrations in front of the Milton! Brilliant ?
  19. Kevin Moores' equaliser in the ZDS cup final. I really thought we'd go on and win it after that. Gemmill the bast*rd
  20. What do you do for a living MLG? Just curious... Am I mixing you up with someone else? Do you have something to do with Football Manager?h
