  1. Okay.. Ohh Graziano Italiano From Feyenoord Got the looks of lad your misses wants to s h a g Get the ball in the box he'll put it in the bag Ohh Graziano... The theme is a take on the song United used to sing for Owen Hargreaves and his curly hair... love that song... why are United so good at coming up with songs?? They seem to start them all and everyone else copies.
  2. Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has two games to save his job at St James' Park: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-united-manager-alan-pardew-has-two-games-to-save-his-job-at-st-james-park-9707489.html
  3. I've given up being worried about football and even my emotional attachment is diminishing sadly. Possibly due to getting a bit older I suppose. Ergo, if Alderweireld turns out to be the 'real deal' then he definitely won't want to stay at Saints. If he is a 'good egg' he might sign on for another season with us with the proviso that he gets his move at the end of year two and Les gets his chance to shine once more by extracting tens of millions from any one of the top four. This is where I am at now with football. Hard economics. Oh but what a privileged position to be in eh? Oh forgot to embellish the above by saying this model has worked incredibly well for Ajax and latterly Athletico. Where as in years gone by Saints used to sell the crème and directors pocketed the fees, at least now we can see the cash going straight back into the team. Sustainability. I love it actually. Romance is long gone from football with the exception of the cups which I am sure Mr Koeman will take far more seriously than Pochawhatshisface.
  4. A difficult situation that the board have done a good job of rectifying. If this summer has taught me anything it's that players are very transient in the modern game. Sadly I will view them totally as commodities and without emotion. What a fantastic position Markus Leibherr left us in tho. We contract players, improve them, sell them on for OUR valuation. The footballing world knows we are ready to do business but it will cost ya'. No longer pushovers for Spurs et al. If anything else this summer proves we are competitive in a monopoly. Not many clubs in Europe can say that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. She's doing well to defy gravity tbf..
  7. They have been *removed* by the Dutch connection.
  8. I would expect at the very least 34 pi ss ed off dockers to crowd round the entrance to St Mary's waiting for someone to come out and explain things... a la Keegan after the sale of Andy Cole in 1856 (or thereabouts). Passionate those Geordie's.
  9. It'll one or the other with Newcastle taking the other.
  10. Typical Wenger if they do come in late for Morgan. Arse are screaming out for a striker and Wenger goes and buys another midfielder just to prove to the Arse faithful that he's in-charge and knows what he is doing. Typical I tells ye
  11. I thought this was a given that it was a fruitcake with too much time on his/her hands.. if they have hands.
  12. Won't be able to watch so appreciate a summary if anyone had the inclination and time.

  14. Has to be something from La Marseillaise surely ?? Its a great rousing tune and obviously should be appreciated by our Frenchy midfield maestro ! To Arms Citizens!! Form Your battalions... Morgan Morgan MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN!! Morgan Schneiderlin Non? In fact doesn't this already get sung for him?? Sure I've heard it??
  15. Posted in the 'heads gone' fred... Excellent interview which had me smiling from ear to ear during his little recount of the last few weeks. An apology to the fans and a renewed commitment to the cause. Whatever his future holds no one can say he hasn't acted with true professionalism (that tweet apart). I hold him in the greatest of regard and more so following that honest interview. Wonderful to hear Morgan referring to the privileged position footballers find themselves in relation to others less fortunate around the world. A lesson I wish others would heed. Perhaps a cynic will argue he is saying all the right things and I do still believe Morgan will play for a top 4 side in the very near future. However, he is a great guy and is still ours so fully expect a storming season from him. Koeman must be delighted with Morgan's reaction.

  17. Amen brother...

  19. That explains a lot.
  20. I think we have arrived at middle ground... It was intentional but really was a bit cr*p
  21. I wasn't sure last night and asked a question as my stream was crap on the match thread. Having watched it again this morning several times I can see it being genuine. What is possibly clouding my judgement is how cumbersome it looks. The 'after swing' of his right foot is so far behind the left foot pass that it looks unintentional to my eye. I think he needs to work on it some more if he's going to fool anyone. The Millwall defenders certainly never fell for it despite it creating a great chance after Clyne's brilliant cross. You are right though.. its a moot point. I was simply alarmed at the less than helpful replies. Even in that link to the Irish Examiner (above) they seem unconvinced, and I quote:
  22. Wonderful contributions (above). So mature and offering clear argument as to why it was a good bit of skill. This contribution (below) at least tried to dissect the skill and offer an opinion into why he/she thought it was genuine.
  23. I asked during the game if it was intentional as my stream resembled minecraft.. I'm not convinced it was.
