Old Kenny McKenny sour grapes, we were the best team blah blah. Spent 170m, going down, and didn't deserve anything from our past 2 meetings. Suck it up you bad loser and look at yourself.
-
Wasn't able to watch, but thank God!!! Did we deserve it??
-
Does anyone have any idea of he is nearing training?
-
This was my last trip to Notts Forest - a similar scoreline tomorrow would be nice! "Hooters" near the ground beforehand was pretty decent https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/16453735

Agree we probably might as well cash in on TP, we didn't really use him when he came on and doesn't really fit what we seem to be doing. IF we had a fit Downes and Charles to bring in for Les and Aribo we may have faired better.
-
That's my big issue. You're a sub, you're fresh legs, be mobile, harass, press, close down. But why so casual and pedestrian? Does my head in.
-
Sorry but I'm with others on Smallbone. He doesn't even have the ability to sprint on the press.
-
Must be. They have literally sold nobody. They have spent about 160m now. And made a loss of 5m in the previous season I believe. Maybe banking on selling Delap
-
Wood has been okay, but can't be long till ABK gets a go. Maybe Taylor/Manning and KWP for Suga. Arma is a weak link. Other than that we looked good.
-
I think we played really well! Tall Paul is a revelation and so much more than a target man. Frankly it's criminal we haven't played him so far, where people have been creaming one off about Delap, we've been trying Diaz etc. So stubborn. I don't think I could pick out a weak link beyond Arma who is very limited. Would prefer Archer or even Sulemana there. I know Sulemana was carp when he came on tho. All in all, feel if we made the change after Bournemouth we might have stood a chance. But sadly it feels a bit far fetched now, and a great performance is fine, but zero points gained. Aribo looks like he is still in possession recycling mode. Thought Les and Paul were the standout positives. Maybe we can do it!

Hmmmmm Moyes odds have shifted loads havent they. Maybe a 6 month thing like we did with Hughes would be a good shout.

Yep, Lesley < Charles

Corberan and Rohl really don't float my boat. What's the point. They're not going to keep us up and will have half a season of scar tissue to recover from before they start the job they're capable / intended to do which is compete in the championship. Neither of them have any credentials in terms of getting out of the championship either. Not saying I have the answer but these two feel lazy and underwhelming- it's like confirming relegation acceptance and then going again in the champ with someone unqualified in securing promotion
-
I reckon it was blatantly a clause where promotion triggered a contract review/extension.
-
Not overwhelmed by Rohl. He has managed 25 games and achieved nothing of note. He has never managed or played in the Premiership (albeit I know we are likely going down!). He is also not going to be cheap (presumably). Coming into the group at this juncture to see out the campaign doesnt feel like the job for a young and inexperienced manager.
-
Wolves should have won that, switched off for the last kick of the game which was a corner. However, Ipswich had an attacker miles offside right in front of the Wolves keeper yet VAR deemed it fine. Armstrong at Brighton? Consistency?
-
Skates getting dry humped. Although their squad doesn't look that fishy on paper.
-
Its bloody fantastic. It's happened again eh. 120m spent, they're turning on Paddy Mckenny, and they look even worse than us (double our points though).
-
It'll be Corberean, Eustace or Carrick. All equally less qualified in the prem than RM. But probably more tactically flexible. I wouldn't mind Carrick - but just seen Wet Spam are in for him.
-
If he's gone and we have no replacement ready it's a complete f up. Lallana isn't a manager and doesnt have a team of coaching staff. This needs careful planning, handling and timing this time, not like Ralph / Jones / Selles.
-
Same bloody story. Better team, waste chances, gift the opposition a goal. Becoming unbelievable.
-
This.

Did anyone really expect anything different tonight? Made even worse by an absolutely idiotic "leader" throwing his team mates under the bus. Martin can't really legislate for that, nor injuries and suspensions, nor the previous crap recruitment. Wood, Aribo, KWP, Archer, Fernandes, Manning all did reasonably well, but 10 men vs Chelsea in their current form is a big old ask. That said, the prosecution is that you have to adapt, and playing a way which risks gifting 3 or 4 goals to world class teams each week is never going to work. And more damming is the judgement of character to deem Stephens the model pro leader, especially after he did the same thing vs United. JS has a lot of apologising to do. Lots to ponder, even though the result is little surprise. My worry is that sacking Martin isn't going to keep us up, therfore what will it really achieve in the medium term, given the big re set which will come in the summer anyway, because let's face it. We ain't staying up, even though our best eleven are really not a million miles off it, without the suicide football.

He's let us down massively. Learn from the United game ffs.
