Taylor’s definition of ‘done well’ is very different to ours. I wouldn’t call losing every single match, very heavily in some cases, ‘done well’. Any more than a blue steak in my local pub would ‘well done’.

Agree with that. Reminds of MAGA and the miners voting for Trump because ‘he’s gonna bring back the mines’. All he’s done is slash their Medicaid when a lot of them have lung/COPD-related conditions. Reform truly are MAGA UK, we even had Jenkyns pledging DOGE UK (she has no ability to bring it about fortunately).

Saw him on a clip the other day, Kidderminster Harriers were in the Conference North play-offs. Looked up the result, they lost to Chester.

Or the NI increase for SMEs under 10 staff, charities, GPs, universities etc. Bad error not to increase NI but to have it as such a blunt instrument by Reeves.

They are, but those places want the 1970s economic inequality (as well as social attitudes) back. What Farage, Tice and the Candy Brothers want is more like the stark 1980s gulf in income inequalities and living standards which Reform’s new voting areas were very much on the wrong end of. They blamed the Tories but they’ve turned to something far more economically extreme with the red meat of anti-immigration thrown in.

Lib Dem voters turned out more, not the maximum result we could’ve had but impressive enough. There is clearly lots of apathy towards both the main parties. What’s ironic is that the glorious past Reform refer that they want to go back to had the lowest gap between the wealthiest and poorest and highest rates of direct taxation on the very wealthy (ditto America and the pre-1960s era the GOP harps on about). Social surveys showed the British public at their happiest in the 1970s especially in Reform’s key voting groups today. Funny I’m not hearing anything about that from them or their billionaire, shady, tax-avoiding partners.

Wayne used to get very excited when Nani was in the Man Utd squad.

Torquay United are my second team, but if Saints appointed their analyst, I’d be raising serious eyebrows knowing that level and the fact Dorking also finished in the Conference South play-offs.

No to EU workers, unless they’re Toad’s wife of course

Although https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14674801/Rangers-Steven-Gerrard-Ibrox.html Might be one less opportunity to get Russell off the payroll though.

Thanks for sharing and to Wiggles as well, good to hear examples from a positions of knowledge and experience unlike most of our idiot politicians and their pet excuses for journalists. It also demonstrates simple reasonable adjustments make all the difference and that people with ADHD and other neurodiversities are just as bright and capable (bell ends such as RFK take note). Wiggles makes a further crucial point about young women’s ability to mask, very likely to be a key driver behind the rise.

Toad of Toad Hall both visually and in character although Toad much more well meaning and didn’t have millions on dodgy Russian and Candy brothers filth money propping him up either https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Toad

Judging by the odd views and behaviour of many of their candidates, I’d say they are a prime example of what happens when SEND isn’t diagnosed.
-
The PSED is also very different to affirmative action programmes running in the States, given the different cultural and social contexts between the countries (eg the KKK, racial segregation in living memory). If Reform want to go down that rabbit hole they will find in more southern, metropolitan and urban areas that is is met with a lot more public resistance and will drag in a lot more groups they don’t want to eg veterans at the cross-section of disability/EDI/PTSD. British people even in England value employment rights a lot more than America, we are far more of a European nation in that respect.

It’s up to the buying club to run a thorough medical and do the necessary due diligence, and very robustly so when the buying DoF is the selling manager’s brother. Obvious it was a huge risk and no certainty he’d be fit again, had only played 11 Champ games and was out of contract within 12 months 🤦♂️ In most firms, that kind of highly foreseeable and costly blunder = a meeting with the CEO/Ops Director, HR and strong hints to look elsewhere for a fresh start.

They made the same stupid claims in the literature here - there aren’t specific EDI posts, hidden or not, that I can discern - but a quick search indicates there’s working groups which are probably 10-15 hours pa of people’s time from other specialisms and across the parties https://careers.gloucestershire.gov.uk/GloucesterCity/content/Diversity/?locale=en_GB Thankfully, Reform only got 11 seats here (still 11 too many) so they won’t be introducing any Trump shit here. As you say, they’ll find that any hypothetical savings of a few hundred quid on trading here and there doesn’t make a dent on deficits of hundreds of millions. And that’s before the SEND assessment and diagnosis challenges.

We used to - Timmy, restored Beasant’s confidence, Jones, Niemi - but since Forster’s knee injury and Kelvin’s retirement, the goalkeeping department has been pathetic. Gunn we overpaid badly on (City yet again, what an aggregate of shit with Bazanu), McCarthy has gone backwards, Forster totally lost his mobility, Bazanu throw in far too young and badly overpaid. Coaching department miles away from the days of David Coles for keepers.

Even our placid away fans are turning rapidly. If we aren’t looking a lot more energetic and competitive in the first few games next season and top 6, watch out SR. Fernandes wasn’t well apparently but bringing on Smallbone to give some energy 😂🤣😆

Alan Nixon saying we are looking at Anthony Patterson if Sunderland don’t go up. Mix of views on their forum, in summary very good shot stopper, less good off his line and communication not great. But at 25 those could be fixed. Some slight concerns about weight control/fitness as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Patterson Can’t see us paying what they might want but positive to see another goalkeeper link as Bazanu’s Belgian stint finally brought the club into reality.
