There’s the song the team come out to sorted. Although ‘we’re going to score one more than you’ is rather fanciful.
-
Added to that the peer review and Director’s panel decisions, whilst supposed to be faster, may have taken months, and may even have happened under the last government as well.
-
Not to mention a manager and new DoF too. Shits on the fans after such an appalling season. I hope for Dragan’s sakes a sale happens quickly or start the season well because if neither happens there won’t be a repeat of the mindless happy clapping at Spurs.

Sorry to MLG you but having read further, it is the whole funding body, established by Dominic Cummings as a more high risk, high reward funder along the lines of DARPA in the US, which has a budget of £800m, not that project or programme. This particular programme, one of their biggest, could be up to £50m in value but probably won’t be in practice. Some of the other programmes are here including Programmeable Plants are here https://www.aria.org.uk and https://www.aria.org.uk/opportunity-spaces/programmable-plants/programmable-plants I much prefer the plants and other programmes and don’t like the sun dimming project. But the whole point of ARIA was to be different and risky so we understand more in the future if we do need to use those methods. Not saying it’s my cup of tea but it’s meant to be more edgy and have commercial applications.

There is much truth in this, however it wasn’t long ago Dragan was on there being interviewed by Jim White who he is apparently friendly with. Would have taken White seconds to rebut Jordan with ‘news to me or not heard anything about that’. He didn’t. Doesn’t mean the club is actively up for sale but might mean Dragan will want to oversee another promotion but recognise that to undo the sheer scale of Rasmus’s ineptitude plus compete at the PL level as we traditionally have will cost more than he’s prepared to gamble. So for anyone to kick the tyres more firmly, £125m opens the door to discuss further.

I see the Canadian election interference is working out well for him….not https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5ylzkzxkndo It is set to be close, but it wasn’t anywhere near close pre-Trump with the Liberals set to be on the wrong end of a landslide.

If Spors gets the opportunity. My sense is that most clubs are available if the owner’s price is matched, excluding the Bundesliga which has a different culture. But the optics are poor on the Jordan comments which haven’t come from thin air sans a manager, pending a total squad rebuild and the DoFs feet barely under the table. Not to mention a diabolical season.

Interesting piece - Bessant and Kellogg at the moment as the adults in the administration seem to be having more input over the morons like Navarro https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g45zp77y5o

Agree with much of that although Goztepe would never had access to those players without SFC. And SFC was his answer to losing the PL rights in Serbia. He has brought Spors in as well. My sense, not ITK, is there was a tyre kick or two, Solak’s said via TalkSPORT backed up by the Echo and BBC Solent when asked ‘that’s the price’. Nothing in the commercial world is not never for sale.
-
Get the club promoted again though first, better price, unless he’s got buyers sniffing who reckon they can both buy the club and invest to grow in the PL to promote whatever their mission is?
-
Given how interlinked the three clubs are, one can only assume that they are also up for sale? And worth a lot less in Goztepe’s and Valenciennes case without the joint scouting and management systems? Rasmus will be out of work and his brother - wonder if he’s fallen out with Solak and Dragan went ‘fuck it, this Rasmus’s pet empire. I want to sack the prick but can’t be arsed to do it solo’?
-
This is what I thought. Effectively they’d be up for sale too. Far easier to sack Rasmus like he did with Kraft.
-
Those of you who missed the League 1 days are in for a treat then. Nice of the club to give the new manager the final say.
-
He’s done far more damage again in concert with Martin over the last 2 seasons as well. As usual, it will be the supporters and residents of the city employed at the club paying the price.
-
It would be a legal headache trying to untangle the three clubs though. And these rumours are about SFC not Goztepe or Valenciennes, nor SR itself.
-
What a shitshow, now making the papers https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/southampton-sale-relegation-dragan-solak-35133462 In reality the club probably isn’t up for sale actively but would take £125m if offered. But seemingly SR have been indiscreet. Dread to think what Spors or prospective managers make of what Jordan has said and the lack of clear response. Doubtful ownership, no manager, mercenary squad in tatters, set for equal low record points total = this could get a whole lot worse next season.

😂🤣 Hopefully they will at least let the fingers cool down a bit from being under the grill first?

And very, very expensive per asylum seeker https://www.ippr.org/media-office/hidden-costs-of-rwanda-scheme-revealed-to-be-in-the-billions-finds-ippr Given the old people who howled about the Winter Fuel allowance are the biggest supporters of Rwanda along with other Brexiteers and Red Wall seats, and the policy did not have anywhere near majority public support (just 16% thought it was VFM), who is actually footing the bill for the removal of 20k for an eye-watering cost of £2-4bn? Faster processing and rejections as appropriate are way more cost effective, get numbers down and allow those under more serious consideration to work after 6 months: https://odi.org/en/insights/the-cost-of-the-uks-rwanda-plan-lessons-for-eu-member-states/ Also, Israel found with their own Rwanda scheme that refugees sent there tried to head back to Europe almost immediately and was a colossal waste of money, hence they swiftly pulled the plug. I wasn’t against Rwanda on ethical grounds - but the evidence shows clearly it’s hideously expensive and very ineffective on a much smaller sample size than needed.

Yep, Ross has to be regarded as a David Connolly type bonus next season. If you can get some cameos with goals and assists in, great, but to expect more than 20-25 appearances with maybe half a dozen starts would be folly.

Except even the feet strength is a myth, as you can see from this video from the home of myths

Since Ronald left, still good at home 2015/16. Under Puel definitely more of an away team, under the dreadful Pellegrino awful anywhere with a good squad with a manager scared witless to afraid to attack, and the away record was much better than the home under Ralph. Similar home and way record last season but not as clinical as should have been at home eg Rotherham to over-passing and wasting the ball and time when having a narrow lead.
-
Got to cross our fingers that a run of games restores that.
