On the evidence of this season the jury is out..

Let’s get it over and done with. Then the usual optimism with new manager, players till the reality check kicks in. Been there, done that.

Is it thought that he (whoever he is, and I’m assuming it will be a he) will be appointed soon after this season ends so he can have a say in the players bought in?

So pleased for Palace. I frigging hate city with a vengeance, and Guardiola in particular. In my view he is responsible for so much of what is wrong with modern football.

Probably about time we had another area to the forum... spats, squabbles and fights. I'm sure they're interesting to those involved but possibly to the rest on here...meh.

Looks like we’re going to be ok on the catering side of things, although you know what they say about too many cooks. It’s the football side that worries me…

I've just watched a clip of him commenting on a referee decision on MOTD2. Even the sound of his voice gets my hackles up 😡

Rather he got some goals if he came, although I have heard he flips a mean burger..😎

Can't be worse than this season.

Doesn’t that depend on who we can get rid of? I kept reading about (mainly on this forum so it must be true…) what a bloated squad we have made up of mainly not mediocre but certainly not the best players. So if that is correct then I would think we have to offload a few of these before we can get many more in.

I don't think we've had that for awhile now. The problem I see is how do we attract players who can attain these heights? As far as I know we're not the best payers in the league, I don't think it's going to be an easy ride to promotion next season, so if we're not careful all we are going to get is more average championship dross. Of course we could get lucky and unearth a gem as with Fernandes, but I can't believe that we would be that lucky again. Perhaps a lot will depend on our choice of manager, or rather the manager who chooses us.

Unfortunately post Liebherr I have learnt to be careful what I wish for.... owners, managers, what have you.

If?

If a player is on loan at a club, really likes it, really doesn’t want to return to parent club, can the club force the return against the player’s will, thereby risking a season of sulks à la ABK?

This…prime example was when we had a corner I think it was, they broke and THB, who was up in an attacking position near their pen spot, didn’t even bother to jog back, let alone bust a gut to stop their attack, just basically watched it all unfold as he strolled back down the pitch. Just one of a few yesterday I fear, how many times did we attack only for there to be a lone ball carrier with nowhere to put it but back. Is it still a Russballsup hangover?

I really don't know why there's any debate on this. He is not a good goalkeeper... end of.

What have Norwich ever done to you to wish that on them...

Bit annoyed about that, wanted a clean sweep this season.

As we speak teams in the lower half of the championship and L1 are quaking in their boots knowing that in the near future SFC will be sniffing around their managers and players..
