  1. I'd rather we win the FA cup in this 50th anniversary year than get promoted ...and come straight back down again.
  2. I see Bereton Diaz is still quality...
  3. So it's not a contact sport then, you know, in which players are going to come together perhaps in unintended ways.
  4. Nice to have yet another non biased pond tit commentating on sky...😡
  5. Do we get lots of money as a yoyo club, money for promotion, money for relegation, or are there restrictions in place to stop that happening?
  6. Leo Scienza, amazing footballer that he is, should get more goals and assists than he currently does. He does the hard work then sometimes his final shot or pass doesn't match the standard of what has gone before.
  7. Hopefully it's been coached into him but watching our goal v WBA before he made the (pinpoint) cross he actually looked up. This has been one of my main criticisms of him, seemingly not doing that and losing awareness of what's around him. In my opinion if he starts to do that consistently then there is a hell of a footballer there.
  8. I think the problem is going to be if Peretz doesn't want to stay beyond his loan period.. then what, back to he whose name must not be mentioned?
  9. The goal was down to me. I turned it over as it was so dire knowing full well that when I did so we'd score. You're welcome.
  10. Some miserable sod has got to ask the question (I fit the bill nicely)... is the cup run going to be a distraction?
  11. Watching Arsenal V Chelsea, when it comes to corners I'm never sure if I'm watching football or WWE. Why don't they sort it out?
  12. The Pompey song is so boring.
  13. There is no point of even thinking about the Premier League under this ownership.
  14. I'm not surprised they can afford such big debts, I've just read a report that fans of the top six PL clubs are paying an average of £74 for a match ticket.
  15. So, for instance, if Spurs were to go down with the accompanying drastic cut in revenues would that make them unable to service the debt? What would happen then?
  16. I really don't understand them. ManU make a profit for last year yet are reportedly £1.3 BILLION in debt. How can they be said to be trading within any sort of rules? If this was my, for instance, sausage making company surely it would be declared bankrupt? Perhaps someone with the knowledge of these things can explain it to me.
  17. Any billionaire who doesn't mind becoming a millionaire.
  18. If he could improve getting his head up and picking a killer pass in my opinion he would be a complete player. I thought he tried a few things in the cup game which didn't quite come off, if they had it done we would be singing his praises. It is frustrating because I believe there is so much potential there... come on Sam!
  19. I guess now Bazunus gone we need a new whipping boy...
  20. Cue Jaws music...
  21. For me the sad part in all of this is that the owners don't value Southampton Football Club, any prestige it might have left, any good name it might have salvaged, any aspirations for it the fans might have. It has become a business pure and simple owned and run by people who couldn't two hoots about the sport side of it.
  22. At least we've replaced him with proven quality. Oh hang on a minute...who?
  23. No no no no... I couldn't go through that again.
  24. Thank you. I needed a laugh today.
