A Half fit Ferdinand is 3 times the player Kelly will ever be, how you can even try to justify Kelly's selection over him is just ridiculous. Richards is still only 23 and has only played for England 13 times, so I wouldn't really call that 'tried and tested'. Johnson like Richards is still young (24) and has only played for England 11 times. Downing is picked ahead of Johnson and he yet he is older has played 34 times and scored zero goals for England which I believe fits into the 'tried and tested' argument. Carrick I have to agree with you, however I think anyone with any footballing knowledge can see that he is easily better than Jordon bloody Henderson who has looked absolutely woeful at Liverpool. Basically Hodgson's reasons for his selections are laughable and to see the likes of Kelly, Henderson, Carroll and Downing ahead of Ferdinand, Richards, Johnson, Carrick, Crouch and even Holt is just ludicrous.

Might as well call up Jay bloody Spearing now as well. What a joke, Gerrard is the only Liverpool player which should be in the squad.

How the hell do Downing and Carroll make the squad. Lennon should have been in for Downing, and Crouch/Holt even Sturridge for Carroll. I can't believe that Richards is not included as well. Yes, he may not the be the best defender positionally but then how can you justify Johnson's place? He is one of the worst right backs to have played for England, just look at how Germany ripped him apart in the World Cup.

Feeling bad, came home at the early hour of 2 A.M, but then decided to watch saints videos and carried on drinking till 6 A.M.

The Leeds game was the turning point in the season for me, it is when I knew we were destined for promotion.
