I put my details through 4 different comparison sites this time around - the cheapest price from tescocompare was £750, the best from gocompare was £400. And the other two were in between. It pays to shop around.

Can't remember who took this, someone on here though:

You'd be surprised. Take the album 'In Rainbows' by Radiohead as an example - people were allowed to download the album at whatever cost they wanted. In week one it sold 1.2 million copies (vs 300,000 of Hail to the Thief), and people paid an average of £4, meaning they ended up getting way more than they would have gotten from a normal record deal.

Maybe he's talent spotting at St Mary's tonight?

Rasiak?

Think he's implying that it's ridiculous that he's number 45. Though I'm pretty sure most teams have reserve players in the 40's.

Nah he's not on today unfortunately. The story basically said that he is in talks with channel island based investors and if all goes to plan, could be taking a seat on the board. -
Would love to be involved, only if the club does fold though rather than if Lowe comes back.

I disagree.. whilst it makes it less bearable when they cut to Saints, it usually adds a bit more suspense to the other games they report - therefore keeping the viewer a bit more interested in the program as a whole.

I wonder what odds I can get on us winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy next year.. That positive enough?
-
disagree, we went into decline as soon as Strachan was refused a bit of money by Lowe to spend on players in our European season. That was make or break, and we've been broken.

I thought he was kicking him for diving...

Handed mine in at the beginning of the month, was pretty pleased with it by the end. I do psychology and my project was (basically) on the development of grammar, 14,000 words/45 pages.. I'm at the University of Plymouth. Starting to revise for the last exams now, then I'm all done.

How are the Vancouver Cannuks doing?

I know when to correctly use 'your' and 'you're', but I don't need glasses.. where does that leave me? -
1992 Vauxhall Nova. What a beauty..

I've stayed pretty positive up until this point.. but I'm finally going to have to admit it's over for us in this league.. Credit to Forest.

I liked Southampton 1885.

I'd much rather he'd round up some well off mates, take us over and become chairman.

And I thought my treck from Plymouth was hardcore..

A mildly amusing gag is to print-screen their desktop, save it as a picture then set as desktop background, then delete all the desktop icons. And then watch the results as they try in vain to click their icons with no results. I was tempted to sneak into my housemates room during the night and delete his dissertation (which has to be in Friday) off of his laptop. Obviously saving it on my memory stick.. I don't think I have it in me though...

Fair point, though to many they'd still count as being in the area of the 'west country'. As for being pedantic, I don't really care who is classed as a South Coast club, but if clubs such as Exeter, Plymouth and indeed Brighton are classed as 'South Coast', then the original post is inaccurate in suggesting that they are all in trouble.
-
Indeed, just to clarify my intention was to imply that I'm not quite sure if clubs in the south west are count as south coast clubs. I guess its subjective.
