  1. I'm confused, wouldn't the kick off be 8pm CET, and the trains also running CET? With that assumption the trains would be manageable.
  2. Turned out my card had expired, all sorted! My back up neighbours the away fans (I think), COYRs
  3. indeed, website now not letting me book tickets!
  4. Thanks chaps. Not sure if I have enough aways for this to get in the ticket queue early enough, I'll have to chance it and have a nice plan b in Amsterdam to fall back on!
  5. Any ideas when tickets will go on sale? Will it be ST holders, then members, then general - or will there be a preference for ST holders + first leg attendees, then ST holders, then members, then general?
  6. I feel your pain. I cant do next weekend... I'm shi*ting myself that we will A) be drawn away 1st leg next week, B) get an awesome away trip and C) get knocked out at the first hurdle.
  7. Called it !: That is quite funny though, a pioneering manager utilising the latest methods in sport science and physiotherapy, "Its meant to ****ing hurt!", this Cook chap will be good value for a phew LOLs
  8. They should keep quiet, they'll probably owe spurs another million quid or something equally as daft and suspicious as the last begovic transfer!
  9. We play the right way. We grow talent. We’re forward thinking. We push the boundaries. We never stop. #WeMarchOn.
  10. Nice to see a big Saints/England flag being prominently displayed behind the Australian bowling on SkySportsAshes The crest, 'Pride of Hampshire' & 'R&B' in the flag
  11. Had a discussion at work earlier, nobody knew as we're all net contributors etc, with the new benefit max of £20/£23k, do they then get taxed on that? If not, it is still beneficial to remain part of the current under aspiring underclass for £20/sub20k salary for a household, which won't inspire those who may have ambition to work rather than claim..
  12. Those pikeys are basically blagging their way around anywhere who will let them use their land for a day or two. Southsea common next, then the beach. Maybe now is the time to bed in at Moneyfields.
  13. The whopping great elephant in the room which nobody can address, hugely short of housing for our own population yet we also need to produce the equivalent of Southampton each year just to keep up with net migration! I'm sure the people who suggest we should be 'welcoming' all and sundry (who no doubt live in middle class areas and have absolutely no contact with the folk flooding in) will do their bit by opening up their homes, providing rooms, food and money, f'sure.
  14. Good point.
  15. My favorite line was about 'Dr Fahim' and how we were going to 'feel pick sick' when we see the scale of his investment - PMSL HO/Banker is still posting away on POL
  16. Creditor payment deadline, maybe to Chinny? It would be nice to see the return of Balram Chainrai Feed us a little more Dubai Phil

    ISIS

https://news.vice.com/article/my-journey-inside-the-islamic-state?utm_source=vicenewsfb Quite interesting if you have the time to watch. You can tell many are bullsh1tting through total fear. IS seem to be well funded and organised, the filthy scumbags.
  18. Interesting perspective. Who "owns" the IMF? They do seem keen to dictate governmental policy in Greece. I think they should default, it's inevitable in the long run, a couple of tough years and the Drachma will kick on. People are more important than 'debt' owed to these institutions
  19. It seems like a vicious circle of taking on more debt to service todays debt, but the interest keeps accumulating, to the benefit of the ECB/IMF. Pap would have been all over this!

    Grexit

Capital controls on Greek banks, citizens restricted to 60euros a day withdrawals, businesses hit hard and essentially unable to function. Should they blow off the debt (this current fallout is such a small slice of their debt)? Is it fair to let millions suffer for generations to service the 'debt' to major financial institutions (and their international 'investors')? Can they revive the Drachma? I think people will still holiday there, countries will still trade with them etc A Grexit would leave a Brexit holding the potentially fatal blow, does this give the UK leverage on our membership renegotiation? Good luck to them, it cant be nice right now for the Greek public.

    Calais

My sympathies to the people of France, decent people who will be (once again) deeply shocked and saddened by yet another attack by these vermin scum. Hopefully they can find the strength to eradicate this crap from their country, they have a great culture to defend. (In other news, terrorist attacks on hotels and beaches in Tunisia, suicide bomber in Kuwait... busy day for islam, Fridays.)

    Calais

They pass so many countries signed up to the asylum treaties, many of which are just next door, no need to cross war zones, seas etc http://www.unhcr.org/4848f6072.html For example, a genuine Afghanistan asylum seeker can seek refuge in neighboring Iran, Turkmenistan, or Tajikistan. But as you said, for reasons unknown to us, they choose the long journey to 'El Dorado'
