F*cking yellow bellied Scottish independence cowards, all bluster and no action! toothless pussies need to keep their mouths shut from now on, they had their chance and they f*cking bottled it. Farage was gobbing off first thing this morning, heaping pressure on the overly spoilt scots LOL

Good luck to the Scots on Thursday, I hope they show the courage not to be bullied by the establishment & state institutions, and make their own decision based on what they believe is best for them, their families and their common man. Everyone seems to be banging on about UK wealth, prosperity et al, conveniently forgetting the 1,000,000 people reliant on food banks (in supposedly one of the richest countries on earth). We tell them they will not be able to run their own 'welfare state', whilst we forget the 1,000,000 odd youngsters out of all education, training or gainful employment. The 'one percent' of our nation have more wealth than the rest of the country combined, whilst we all sit back and watch the ideological privatisation of our countries resources, ironically being sold off to the one percent. Our police see fit to produce a European arrest warrant, to throw the parents in jail, of a boy who is being denied potentially lifesaving cancer therapy. The same police 'force' who let a boy drown to death in a lake as the police in attendance stood by and waited 15 minutes for healthy and safety clearance. Our communities are being disenfranchised in the name of jihad, whilst we all sit back and watch our rights and freedoms slowly dissolve under the guise of national security. Good luck to Scotland!

Benali coming home was a SMS experience that I will never forget (like saying farewell to Pahars!), I felt immensely proud of Franny and also the reception he received from all in attendence.

The food stands/outlets by Camden lock are the best IMO, next to a cocktail bar too!

But who in the west, the House of Lords, Bilderberg/NWO etc, US arms corps, Religious leaders?
-
That does seem to be the case, though what is the end game for the mysterious superpowers that are setting the world in this direction? Government has been in 'when not if' mode regarding terror for around a decade now. I take Tony Blairs words seriously, due to his war history and his ironic role in the middle east post premiership. He says we will bring terrorism to our streets on the back of our failure to intervene in Syria, it seems to be playing out that way. The people of Britain will absolutely destroy these scumbags if they try and kick off in the UK. They are hugely outnumbered, cowards as well.

Ever Fell Out With a Saints fan with a different opinion in real life?
holepuncture replied to St.JonB's topic in The Saints
That awful relegation season from the NPC, 09-10. Home to Burnley, early-mid season, a depressing 13,000 crowd. 'Swing Lowe' all over the place, people sarcastically banging the empty seats as a message to the board, then at around the hour mark, numerous pockets of fighting broke out around SMS. I remember watching with amazement the Northam corner, the Itchen etc, as Saints fans started fighting each other. I left that game thinking we were doomed! -
it always ends up abck at the bar for Iain!

LOL, im sure that will slot right in behind the Tescos loading bay! If they pulled that off (!), they would be knocking on the door of the likes of Bradford. Maybe they should focus on laying the seeds and putting up the £250k fence first!

ISIS recruiting in Oxford Street - London
holepuncture replied to mightysaints's topic in The Lounge
Source? I have witnessed various protests by groups dressed entirely in black with black flags featuring Islamic text, around the west end over the years. They normally congregate around Marble Arch to Green Park areas, though ive never associated them with ISIS in the past, just general hate preachers. Tony Blair warned us about this recently, saying our failure to intervene in Syria will cost us for many years to come, as the 'holy war' will come to our streets. Now we have University students, people who have jobs/careers etc, changing their life course forever as they go to fight with a view to becoming a martyr! Many wealthy Arabs are spending their summer holiday/countries cash in London at the moment, I imagine they will be embarrassed by any ISIS presence in London. Assads wife is a regular around Mayfair!!! -
FWIW I suspect we do have people at the top who would be capable of making something like this happen, though we also have a host of decision makers and committees now all with their own visions, agendas, personalities. I miss the Dons ruthless single minded vision. I also think Cortese would agree with most of that article, thinking back over some of his very limited comments over the years: Looking to emulate the Barca academy, our Southampton Way philosophy at Staplewood etc. Saying one day we could pay a player £200K PW (Regarding the FFP figures in the article, again, if Cortese really was able to deliver the CL, then he could increase the wage bill accordingly). Saying we can never compete with the financial wealth of the big six, and that we have to think of other ways to be competitive, such as the academy (football leaders thing). Recently saying that SFC will always find it hard to resist the big clubs due to the salaries that the players would be offered. Oh well!
-
Wow. I would understand if it was just the 'academy' and coahes, as they wont earn much, but for the first team to offer such a small contribution, whilst the club bully and harrass normal people to hand over a grand, well thats extremely poor form. That said, they're always good for a LOL. Connelly probably made more cash out of the skates taking a dump in the/his medical room, than he has invested in the presidents property venture.

He has realised that the complete over use of the word 'engagement' actually makes real professionals wretch. The job title of a bullsh*tter and a tool! At least the new title his mates have given him is a little more upfront and honest, lets face it, it was never about being cuddly and fuzzy, it was all about cold hard cash being transferred from the fans bank accounts/giros straight to Champagne Iains private bar. Happy fifth anniversary nutjobs, I wonder where the skates will be in five years time and under what guise/legal entity. I still have every faith that Moneyfields is a possibility. And for what its worth, you dirty skate bastards. This is how you do charity: [video=youtube;-aFs4UqjfJ8]

Superb, good luck Benali!

I recall seeing that motor at Burnley away a couple of years back, parked at the Cricket gound, think it may belong to his WAG!

http://www.signbox.co.uk/home Try pub/shop refurbishing companies, maybe custom car audio style companies, anyone who is good with plastic, fibre glass etc, you might get a better one off deal that way.

To pull in Guans post from the 'Lallana completes' thread.. I would also go with "Clattenburg was right".. I dont think we need to be c*nts about it all, so this would just be a nice bit of light hearted 'banter' in front of the media whilst sending a dignified signal to Lallana that we are not all that impressed by the nature of his departure.
-
The old girl rises again, Cotterills famous quality over quantity strategy! Lucky skates, weve been tapped up so hard that we now have more cash than we are going to be able to spend, as our England internationals get picked off by the top four clubs. So much cash in fact, we could buy the skates/pdt/pst out around 15 times over and still have enough left to buy the virtual penalty spot at roko. The debated £14m - £70m promotion from L1 to PL costs (including the training ground at the top end), have been wiped out in the space of a week.
-
Absolutely. In my opinion it is also about equality. For example, kids being told to remove the hoods of their hoodies in town centres, young adults being told to remove baseball hats in pubs, motorcyclists being told to remove helmets in petrol stations. Therefore I think the ECHR has made the correct decision in upholding the ruling of baning the hijab in public, as like the examples above, it is a rule that is equal & fair to all and is a justified act in providing a safer and more secure society for all.

Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw sales; Good or bad?
holepuncture replied to Saint TJ's topic in The Saints
Im with Alpine on this one. Good luck to all these players, I hope they take the full opportunity to use SFC as a stepping stone to further their careers, we meaningless supporters may even be lucky enough to see them play once or twice before they leave for bigger and better things!
