There have been no further developments in the situation with Clasie’s Dutch colleague Virgil van Dijk. Speculation is inevitably ramping up over the future of the central defender heading into the final days of the window, but Saints have still yet to receive an offer for his services. Van Dijk remains sure he wants to leave having handed in a transfer request, while Saints do not want to sell. Really good quality with no lag. Just getting started seemed the problem.
