Murray break up, again. Hightlight has been the tater saying, "up until this point, Djokovic has been ruthless with his length"
-
The bestest.

They are offering nothing different to the creditors than Chinny or the trust from what I can see. Also you have to wonder why all the secrecy on the name when they have divulged everything else, including a dead link to the escrow proof £1m to the creditors as part of the CVA and the £8.8m to the players on the never never from parachute payments. Trev has 3x similar bids in respect of the creditors.

I don't hate the shirt. I started going to Saints games in 1985 and the Centenary shirt is a big departure from the stripes as we know it. We have had better (sash and 1987 kit) and we have had worse (1993 kit). It does look a little pink on tv as well!

This thread meandered a bit over the last week. POL provided a bit of a distraction. But as per usual that was the lull before the storm, of the lull before the LOL in the case of the skates. Buckle up Nutjobs, I sense an epic week ahead.

He has developed a backbone this year!
-
Couldnt agree more!
-
So to sum up. All these crazy hate filled Scummers would actually wish Pompey well, if they accepted that the current club is tainted by some pretty unsavoury acts and pledged to live within their means going forward. You unreasonable Nutjobs you!
-
Let's be honest, he's hardly going to say he is a Saints fan is he. He hadn't really said great things about Pompey, just that he once shared a car, with someone I have never heard of, who told a few funny stories - probably about the lengths he had to go to for his wages.
-
£15 per hour? Hoping that is the CVA version.
-
I don't think many would be-grudge the PST taking over. I also think the effort has been laudable, but if you are being honest with yourself the 1700 pledges you have got is poor. The reason for the sceptical nature of the Nutjobs on here is that we have seen it all before.... Promises to pay, "we'll never get in that mess again", " we need to be competitive". Sorry if we are a little cynical that PFC will change. The club is like an alcoholic in need of a new liver, why waste what remnants of an organ you have on something that it terminally ****ed? The Trust's figures, as much as we have seen to date, do not add up and they'll be staring down the barrell of admin pt3 within 12 months. That said they have yet to break cover on the latest master plan, so - if they can afford it, will play by the rules and not leaving creditors ****ing in the wind - I'll happily ignore your League 2 plight.
-
Or that could be a double bluff, like it!

The trust are treating their bid like the fella who can't really afford a posh car. They are rearranging finances, putting down as smaller a deposit as possible and skimping on the options. No thought has gone into the insurance, servicing and finance repayments - just the thought that they will 'own' the car. My brother trades cars, and his experience is that all to often these motors are repossessed inside the year when reality kicks in. Over the last couple of weeks they have lost the PCC loan, likely have to stomach losing Fratton Park and paying a £1m per year (£40k per match) rent to the loan shark and have written off all future parachute payments by matching Chanrai's bid. Fair enough, they are chasing a dream but they have nothing to pay the players, pay Chanrai or the CVA (yes I know ) Admin again before the season is out or a Conference level player budget, we all know which they will choose.

It appears I have now been banned as well. 'on your way Scummer' was the charming phrase used. To be fair I had hidden my identity cunningly under the username 'Chalet' and PompeyScot knew I was there, so top marks to Frattoniser for sussing me out.
-
I am guessing you are not PompeyTorres then?
-
To be fair, one of our posters did put some information on here which is what they are upset about. Although it is all publically accessible information it doesn't really add much to the debate of the PTS and was removed. If people really are obsessed with finding out PompeyScot's details, that's up to them - just please don't post it on here.
-
We've put our bid in and are just waiting for Trevor Birch to return our call!
-
Please tell me your Sub isn't a nuclear one?

Who here genuinely thought we would have anymore than 3 points after 4 games? Following the Arsenal game we have 3 months and 12 games until we play a top 4 side (Chelsea). It will be our performance against the other 15 teams that will determine our future this year. Reasons to be cheerful? Absolutely: We have goals in us We have played well We have players to come in We are showing naiviety, this will improve Clyne, Davis and Davis have come in and done well. If the deficiencies at LB, CB and possibly GK persist then we can address in January. It is not going to be the season that many on here or expected, but we have a good team, a good squad, a manager who learns fast, a Chairman prepared to spend - so don't start dusting off the Championship guidebook just yet.

He's not Corpy, He's Banker - obviously the toy computer he writes on has a 'W' where there should be a 'B'
-
Really? After Lambos performance on Sunday I would be amazed.
-
Ok, reasons the crowd was so low, I will kick off. Tuesday Night On Sky Protest at Football League Protest at Chanrai Paint pot crap competition Game against Oldham at weekend Ticket was £10 Lifetime season tickets not valid No boats in the harbour Bompey support crap Concluding part of drama on ITV If it hadn't been for those factors the bestest would have packed the park. Perhaps they only brought £5m into the local economy tonight

Would have done better up front tbf.
