Pleasing for me that the 'plan' appears to be led by a manager who has personal ambition and seen potential in our foundations rather then the chairman. It makes us far more credible if a person with Koeman's profile and reputation says it rather then our ex-hockey coach chairman. I always thought we looked best with Fonte and Yoshi at centre back that year, like in the Liverpool game when Jos had to be subbed due to injury in the first half. And yes, he did look good alongside Jos too, who deserves a little more respect then he often gets

Credit where due to Yoshi, he has reasserted himself well in the side and recaptured the form that saw Fonte and himself contribute towards our comfortable survival in 12/13. Hope he continues to play this well when called upon.

I agree with the sentiment, but there are a lot of reasons why, the chief of which is maintenance costs, the old wooden stands at places like Blundell Park are horribly expensive to keep, hence why many are just left to go derelict. (Mansfield's old Bishop Street Stand for instance.)
