  1. One machine is more powerful; Yes, but it didn't sway me on that alone. Other people prefer it, more power to them. Why does it matter to you? You are starting to sound like Essruu at an Apple convention. Note that I havn't made a decision yet and won't for many months though... I'm not going headfirst into the market for this generation when it's only just forming.
  2. How can you remove subjectivity from entertainment!? By very definition it is subjective and something utterly reliant on the tastes and preferences of the consumer!
  3. All these things are about experience, that is subjective. By reducing it to raw numbers you are just turning into MLG.
  4. Sorry Pap, but the differences highlighted in the screenshots above didn't translate when I actually started playing. I just didn't care that one game looked a little less crisp then the other, with the games flying by at a million miles an hour I didn't have time to linger on whether the textures where slightly sharper, the overall experience was the same for me and if anything enhanced by the fact that I preferred the Xbox One controller.
  5. Having now played both I have to say, as a casual consumer I still see very little difference. The imminent announcement of Mass Effect 4 will lead me to an important decision though.... I will have to choose. From my layman's viewpoint I see the following points: PS4: Marginally better graphical capability My friends primarily have this system Xbox One: I prefer the controller Media integration Level points: Online capabilities It's going to be very tricky to decide. The next 6 months or so will help shape this. Right now though it seems to be a battle between whether I want to (will have time to) play online with my mates or want things to work at their best with my other entertainment equipment.
  6. Could it have been to avoid any potential clash of interests?
  7. Now that was a horrible second half. Fingers crossed for Lovren and Gaston.
  8. We need a second to put this one to bed. So far so good mind!
  9. So he is saying our rise through the leagues was beneficial for the young players we have brought through? Yeah, i'ld agree with that. It was rather a unique situation though, as such 'the market they are in' comment is rather misguided.
  10. But nonetheless useful for penalties.
  11. So THATS why Nicola left....... Certainly was bad luck, Bear, how will you redeem yourself!?
  12. Not a surprise if true, he allegedly had a close relationship with Cortese, not Pochettino.
  13. Put wages and the rest on top, I cannot see us being that profitable.... if at all. The entire worth and profit is held by league status, facilities and the proposed value of the players. We are worth as much as the market deems... and as such a definitive figure for profit or sale value will not exist.
  14. Old news, but he would seem to be a sensible fit.
  15. Indeed. If he was still here this scenario wouldn't exist. Sorry chap but I feel it's a daft question.
  16. Can't agree, all history is relevant, it gives a context to current position and future action.
  17. Good lads! haha
  18. Expected to see either Gazza or Cropper's name in here when clicking. Good luck to Britt either way.
  19. I don't think anyone has ever doubted that he was behaving like a dictator, in terms of raw progress it served the club extremely well. The worry for me is what happens now that the head of the beast has been severed. The club as a corporate entity may be easier to deal with now but if the progress we have made isn't maintained then will that be enough to compensate? - Or will it be a massive weakness?
  20. The comparison cannot be dissmissed when any future precident is currently unknown mate. For all we know we may press on and win the cup this year while Cortese masterminds A.C. Milan's return to Italian dominance!
  21. Must confess that this did cross my mind as well.
  22. This was also stated to be left to the players by Nigel Adkins last year if I remember correctly.
