If it is the same ankle then you may be onto something. I have suffered from inflammation in my own left ankle after training recently and that suffered a rather nasty sprain back in 2011. I do hope that he does go on loan, as much as for his own career as our own interests. He is no longer in our first team plans and in his late twenties will be approaching/enduring his peak level of performance. It's clear he isn't good enough to be in our team and has fallen behind players who are better then him despite being out of position or significantly less experienced which can only be negative to his reputation. He needs to be playing week in week out right now to be sure that his career will be prolonged to it's maximum... as with Billy Sharp it's in the best interests of both parties to part ways, surely.
