  1. There's a very vague stipulation that could be utilised.
  2. Really that terrible?
  3. The Cat, what's the score? The Cat, The Cat, what's the score?
  4. Pleased if a little surprised that this fixture is continuing. I was under the impression that Eastleigh were upset we had sent a second string to them a year or so ago.
  5. Well, they want to re-sign Ricardo Rocha. Make of that what you will.
  6. Don't joke about that... you'll set MLG off!!! Next door to a motorway, Airport and Train Station..... boom!!!

This is a different debate for me. Regardless of the issues with it it's something that cannot be tackled until we are out of Europe and have re-established our own constitution and will no doubt be a masive part of any debate should we come to have a referendum. An entirely separate can of worms. Illegal immigration on the other hand is a pertinent and relevant issue now that action should be taken on.

Or a country of people too afraid to offend at the expense of the nation's integrity? Immigration is a problem. Like many parts of this country's infrastructure it is open to abuse. Unfortunately many would rather stay quite to avoid risking offence rather then trying to address the issues head on. Will this program be effective? Probably not. Will it cost much? It's a van with a billboard, nope. Does something need to be done? Yep.

Do we have communities where these are as prevalent as illegal immigration?
  12. A friend's father received a more then generous pay-off from Ford for taking early retirement. I'm sure the staff will be fine. Totally unlike the collapse of MG Rover in 2005, the factory I worked in at the time supplied window regulators for the R3 (Rover 25, MG ZR.) Thankfully they also supplied into many more stable firms. The contractors and suppliers are an entirely different matter to the closing factory itself.

    Albeit at the other extreme.

What fear tactic? It's just a reminder that if you live here illegally you can face arrest. That's just common sense.

Perception is important but if they are here legally then they have nothing to worry about. The tone is factual, not oppressive and makes no reference to race, just legality. It just shows how stupid this nation is when something which is simply stating the law and repercussions of unlawful behaviour can be considered racist simply due to perceived 'tone.'
  16. Fantastic, not just about the academy being recognised but also the work of Saints foundation in helping local youngsters. Proud to support a club that is working well within it's home community and showing genuine social responsibility. We truly are the complete opposite of our rivals.
  17. Bet he goes for Loic Remy.

Far be it for me to agree with Alpine, but he's right. The message isn't: "Foreigners, Go Home!" As it says on the billboard, "Are you in the UK illegally? If yes, go home or you face arrest." It's not racist, it's common sense.
  19. Good League 1 player, out of his depth in the Championship. Still can't believe we wasted that Coca Cola prize money on him.... even if he was considered a coup at the time. Remember the away game at Coventry when he could have been given all day and still wouldn't have converted a one-on-one if it came.
  20. I was worried we had thrown Shaw in too early last season but he was exceptional. If the staff think Chambers is ready, I am happy to trust their judgement. Thankfully, with Clyne more then good enough he will be able to find his feet without the same pressure we had when Shaw was brought in for Fox.
  21. What time in the hour is this feature broadcasting?
  22. Born in Ashford, Kent, moved to the Winchester area when I was 10. Came to Cov for University in 2002 and have stayed but now looking to return south. I followed Saints when living in the area but only really became totally fanatical when I moved away. Maybe I will mellow again when I do get back to the area..... unlikely I feel.
  23. Celtic will still win the SPL at a canter next year. But if their best two players go to a lower premier league side (as we currently stand) and a championship club what does that really say about them? I really don't believe that Hooper will do that well for QPR. Will score 15+ but will not be the championship's top scorer.
  24. Yes, soft training practices will help them when behind enemy lines. Madness. Any loss of life is tragic but there are always going to be risks in this type of thing.
