It is a shame that some of our former players are not on good terms with the current custodians but the business community did not step in for the club when it was on it's knees, they just took it for granted. Just sketched a few ideas. To be honest, I don't think the exiting badge can be beaten. May update the font and re-style the badge's boarders/key features... But otherwise I think it's essentially perfect.

I would be interested to see how that could be modernised? An artistic styling of an Eagle will always allow more versatility then a pre-determined shape and five instantly recognisable items (The Ball, Halo, Tree, Hampshire rose and Solent 'ripples.') May have a play myself.

When the thread started they were utterly full of it. Despite having had more money then god going through them they had essentially nothing to show for it but a phyrric cup win and league status that was hanging by a thread. Despite no academy, a limited fanbase and a shed for a ground they were still giving it large. Now they are in the 4th tier, the 4th placed club on the south coast by at least two divisions and continuing to trump as though they are one of the biggest clubs in europe. It is hilarious and has been a wonderful journey of so many twists and turns.

I doubt we will ever know. The right thing has happened though, so happy days.
