Oh please give me a rebutal of how Bazunu is at least a championship level keeper that doesn't require gifs, hopes or dreams. It would make my evening.

After watching Leeds v West Brom. How much for Alex Palmer? That's the power of a good keeper. I want Bazunu to be that.... Will we ever see it?

The last time anything like this happened to us was in 2014. We were not relegated that year, indeed, we went on to have our best top flight season since the start of the Premier League. The next two weeks are critical to how this season goes, the money needs to be reinvested that's clear, but i'm not losing my rag with it yet.

He definitely was still at a level to be useful. He is not going to improve now though, will never reach the level he was once at. Can understand him not wanting to fade further. Good career... And still easily young enough to do something very different if he wishes.

Formula 1 and Formula 2. A motor racing comparison. Champions at F2 level can fail spectacularly on promotion, whereas some flourish at F1 level.... But at least they can get there in the first place. You always want the ones that can hack it in the level above, but all things considered, lets just try and get back up and then go with it.

I'm thinking horses for courses. We are F2 as things stand, so while an F1 player would be preferable, if he makes us stronger bring him in.

Liverpool just p*ss me off. So if I can get any schadenfruede related joy out of our carcass getting picked i'm going for it.
