Would you be comfortable letting him near a young female relative? If so, you are a better person then me and many others.

The guy is utter utter filth. How has been granted another go at a footballing career is one thing, and that he then promptly stabbed the club that bent over backwards for him (Coventry) can only reinforce the fact that he is utterly beneath contempt.

Me and Mrs Colinjb found the best way was to just fire names we like at each other during car journeys, and then based on this go yes or no and explain why. Sadly it meant that girls names were easy.... but boys names almost impossible, it seems we have met a lot of total ars*holes in our lives.

I voted for Kelvin. He was outstanding in goal today.... but so was Connolly, and Cork, and Lallana...... and Richardson! He really took it to the bluenoses today. I love it being so difficult to do these, every player is really giving it a go

A fan in the board? Who was the front runner???

Oh my. -
Another good performance from him today. If he continues like this I hope we sign him up full time.

I am a big fan of Cortese. He is the reason Markus Leibherr got involved with us in the first place and that in itself ensures I am willing to give him a lot of slack. We are top of the league, have been in a constant uphill trajectory since his arrival and now actually look like a business focused on it's football team rather then all of the ancillary bits that are frankly irrelevant. But a Legend? If he is here for a long time and delivers on all of the rhetoric we've heard regarding his intentions, then maybe.... but I am not holding my breath for the long term, I am just enjoying the short term for once.

It was a toss-up between Illingsworth, Keith and A.N.Other. Seriously, what a bad idea a fan on the board would be. Clarity with and consultation with the fanbase is one thing, but elevating ONE fan above the others to sit on the board? Nuts, utterly nuts. -
Who is it then? I am awaiting a verdict for my match report. The options: Davis Richardson Fox Hooiveld Fonte Lallana Guly Hammond Cork Lambert Connolly Chaplow De Ridder Schneiderlin If a mod could make this a poll I would be very grateful. Many thanks.

I'ld rather tap a cess pit then that chav.

Talk about a pointless gesture! More chance of them paying a small creditor then take that seriously!

Yes!!! Get in Leicester!!
-
Well, all of them really!
-
That may be a little foolhardy.

Leaving Southampton or a Tatoo? Just get a subtle Football with the Halo upon it on somewhere reasonably hidden.... a shoulder blade for instance.

He was horribly underused for us. Was at least as good as some of the sh*te that played duing his time here and at least showed some desire when in the team. Oh, and cue the obligatory picture of his better half............

That is ever so slightly tight..... ....Did they relent?

In chronological order (From 1984 on): 1) The Chernobyl Disaster 2) The Fall of The Soviet Union (I'm not going to say Communism, there's still plenty of it out there.) 3) The end of Apartheid 4) The Yugoslav civil wars 5) 9/11 and the subsequent invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.... and: 6) The Tamil Massacre at the end of the Sri Lankan civil war.... Almost ignored by the world's media but utterly horrific. I would also hope that the end of dictatorships in North Africa/The Middle East (E.g. Egypt, Libya, Syria and Bahrain) and the rise of Moderate Democratic Islam in those nations will soon be something to add.

But it's a wednesday.....

....No, not Blackpool, but Phil Brown's Preston in the next round of the league cup. Winable, would be nice to get some premiership opposition in the round after.

"Henri Camara will make all the difference." Well, he nearly did. And after seeing us narrowly lose v Birmingham at the start of the Poortvliet 'era.' "Based on that, we'll be alright!" The more you think about this, the more you remember being wrong.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-14894576 I am astounded by this. Yes, the guy is a scumbag but now we have reached the point where mallicious trolling is now a jailable offence. I had no idea that 'indecent or offensive' communication could carry such a penalty!

If you want a Wetherspoons I would recommend 'The Flying Standard' over 'The Earl or Mercia.' It is closer to the bus station/taxi ranks then The Earl and offers a better range of drinks and more standing room/seating options. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=the+flying+standard&fb=1&gl=uk&hq=the+flying+standard&hnear=0x4870b151656e22b7:0x4f660f5564f0689,Coventry&cid=0,0,3148801301208549147&ei=T0lvTsztAsjDhAfuw6nHCQ&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&ved=0CAQQ_BI

June 2006. Me: "Fantastic! We won't be hearing from that Rupert Lowe again!" Fool.

Me confidently declaring that Neil McCann was the final 'piece in the puzzle.' Oh lord.
