  1. One in the eye equals a policeman's batton in my mush!!!!!!!
  2. Will be my third. The previous two where the 2 victories at SMS in the relegation year. Two highlights in a season of sh*t.
  3. Seems to me he's saying that it seems Markus Leibherr has stopped treating Saints strictly as a business and is now seeing us as a more direct pet project and 'toy,' which he is hoping to (and may already) get a lot of enjoyment from! He may be getting involved in us far more then he first realised he would, and may we reap the benefits of it!
  4. Then you've done right to 'cull' them. When you live in Coventry and most of your mates live in Hampshire then Facebook make things a lot easier! the guys down my local are alright but not exactly close friends, Facebook helps keep me in the loop with back home.
  5. I use it as a way of conveniently staying in touch with people, sharing photos and sorting social events. The 'randoms' who you never really liked adding you as a friend is a bit annoying, but you can simply dismiss the request, so no problem! It has also allowed me to reconnect with people I lost touch with when moving away from Kent when I was 10. Couldn't believe it when I found out how they are all doing! It works very well for me. It's a very effective 'networking' tool.
  6. Agreed, odd that he would get this for arguably his weakest month for us. Maybe it just shows how high our expectations are now!
  7. Well, it does make a certain degree of sense for the operator of the new Lotus F1 team to be interested in Norwich.
  8. I would have wanted this to go further actually. All HGV's on Dual Carriageways should be restricted to the left hand lane. The A34 is horrific for Lorries overtaking each other and crawling up the hills at 45 miles per hour. Everything would flow so much better.
  9. That goes a little too far. Yes, it is our first strip, but it bares little relation to our current identity. Possibly a 'Quarters' strip or a simple Red and White stripes would be best for me, either way, no more stupid plastic panel! Result!
  10. Murty isn't the best TV personality.
  11. Considering that your club is obviously insolvent yet getting away with it, then yes, yes we do. Your continued existence is an insult to all clubs who have recently gone into administration. Us Rotherham Crystal Palace Southend (Kinda) Stockport They have been in less trouble and have suffered worse consequences. May you crash and burn. You cheated your way to a cup, now pay the price.
  12. I thought this was a terrible curry reference, but no, just terrible.
  13. He gives to them his worthless shares, gifting them a part of the club...... and absolving him of responsibility for the debt they represent. What a hero.
  14. It was ugly, it was scrappy, it was one of the worst games of football I had ever seen until Papa Waigo came on. BUT WE GOT THE JOB DONE. That, frankly, is enough for me.
  15. Just got my first taste of the game. Loved that I could resurrect my old badass Commander Helena Shephard and continue her rein of terror. The boring lift loading screens have gone. The new map system is not very good. The new ammo/heat sink system is a lot more conventional, which is a shame. One of the new female lead characters (Miranda) is fantastic. The 'denial' twist in the story is frustrating. I am hooked already though.
  16. He went to the Skates because of David Coles. The club was irrelevant to him, he is a proffesional sportsman after all, not a fan. To tar him like that is also to tar Bobby Stokes and Mick Channon. This discussion may well prove to be irrelevant anyway.
  17. Presumably then all players will not be paid either until one of the bigger transfers goes through. And if that doesn't happen by the end of today.......
  18. I would feel sad to see him involved with that car crash. He is the best keeper I have ever seen, he will always be a legend in my eye as a result. I would never boo a player who has given me the joy he has.
  19. So, it's an iPhone but 5x the size. Why not buy a laptop/netbook? Or stick to the iPhone you have already mortgaged your granny for!
  20. Ahhhh hahahahahaaaaa: http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5891344,00.html
  21. SSN: 'Peter Storie admits his role at the club is almost untenable.' No sh*t sherlock. But of course, you have nothing to do with the problems, oh no.
  22. He's had a rather eclectic career. Starts at Wimbledon, joins them at the MK Dons after the move only to be realsed, a token appearance for Lewes and Fisher Athletic (!?) later he joins Barnet, only to join Plymouth and then rejoin the MK Dons on loan to go full circle. Random as Hell!

    mrs hamster

Hamster! Beyond saying how delighted I am to hear this news I'm not sure what else to say. Either way, now the tension has been relived enjoy the good times! On the flip side, massive condolences to MB, life is sadly a lottery, a reminder we should all make the most of what we have and that we should reflect on the rough and the smooth with the same compassion and understanding. My warmest regards and best wishes to you both here. Col x
