It's still the best thing on tele on a saturday morning. Given the choice of cooking shows, cartoons or top gear repeats, it has to be this every time.

"Ladies, You might very well think that but I couldn't possibly comment......"

Barely. Due to advertising being sold for those screens it must surely be in the clubs interest to keep them operational.

Seems to have stopped here. Dissapointing.
-
Really? I've not seen it reported anywhere.

Demonstration for Swansea game- Time and place!!

How much are you paid Canteen? I'll double it. Lowe is the most devisive figure in this club's history. He wants to unite the fanbase, it can only happen one way, his departure. Right and wrong no longer matters, its all become a soupy shade of grey, Lowe is just too controversial to continue. As for 'pot of hatred,' try 'pot of dissapointment.' -
Yeah, have had some uncomfortable experiences with the scots. Unfortunately it is un-pc to call the oppresed racists. Even if they are f**king c**ts.

Momentum is building 'Canteen,' and even if tomorrow is stillborn, it will only snowball afterwards. Saints do have a bright future ahead, a Lowe-less future. Swansea, Hull, hell, even the Skates show what can be done when bad chairmen are disposed of. And when Lowe, and his shadow is removed Saints will have a chance to grow again. Come on you Saints. The fans make the club. -

When the protest passes peacefully, and many thousands turn out you will eat your words. And if they don't I will eat mine. Isn't it wonderful, this period of anticipation, not knowing what the future will hold, not knowing whether this is the catalyst for change? Whatever happens tommorow a statement will be made. And that it needed to be made in the first place will say enough, a dying club can speak, and here it does so. Indeed. COYR, to a brighter future. One way or another. -

The those wanting change at Southampton, take Swansea as inspiration
Colinjb replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
For pities sake read the article. In the likely event that they do win I will still respect the achievements and strides they have made in a short time, if a community comes together and support their club and desire change, good things can happen. Swansea are living are proof of it, in a world of cynicism they are a breathe of fresh air. -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/swansea_city/7847562.stm 7 years ago they managed to get rid of a chairman who had taken them to the absolute depths, now they are fighting for a playoff position in the Championship. Protests similar to the one planned tomorrow served as the cataltyst to not only make fan's opinion clear, but to also rally the local community to do something about it! Change can happen if it is wanted badly enough. Don't give in people. (And please mods, alter the 'the' in the thread title, to 'To.')

Don't know why, but I would.

Excellent, anyone there to try and stir trouble will be dealt with quickly and the march will be able to continue in a dignified and peaceful way.
