Football Special

You are correct, we are so dependent on Larin its scary

Very odd, anyone able to see how many are left? We'll struggle to shift 400 at short notice that distance for a 12.30 ko

OK, just to confirm this season we are in a pattern of win one, lose one, win one, lose one, win one... Lets see how we do tonight, up the Saints 👍

Fair enough. Did you watch the Watford and West Ham games?

Fair enough, but if Larin gets injured then thats our season over

Fair play to you Turkish, I saw your group amongst the pride parade on Saturday, SR know you are coming for them now, fair warning. Whilst others only put fingers to keyboard you put boots on the ground 👊

How does that change things? We can sell him now without paying him a loyalty payment ? I'm fairly sure the club are willing to sell him but doesn't seem like other clubs are willing to pay the asking price. Hopefully someone does today and he can move on

Likewise watched their game Friday night vs Wrexham and was impressed, plenty of energy in that Birmingham team and no doubt will be a tough test. They are unbeaten in league so far, fair to say we've been inconsistent which is not surprising but I fear another Watford performance and lack of transfer activity combined with THB leaving today could lead to negativity spreading, hope for a draw at least.

Thanks, some interesting net spend calculations there. Wolves have done well i think, look well set. West Ham win the net spend trophy, selling Fernandes for that fee was incredible really, need to add our sell % into our net spend ratio. Middlesbrough have done very nicely out of the Rogers sell on , spent well in my opinion. Stoke big spenders , will be disappointed with their start

I've got a mate who lives there and watches them occasionally, will follow his progress. Surely with Downs, Stewart, BBD, Oyekunl gone and Archer likely to go today theres room for another incoming striker Anyone got a link for all the championship transfers this summer?

Likewise I didnt hear at all, but clearly utterly pointless thing to do for a player who always gives maximum effort even if ability falls short occasionally.

Leicester fans will appreciate the sentiment I'm sure 👍

Feels like we need a separate thread for the sensible posters

Feels like our pants have been permanently around our ankles since SR took over

A agree with all of that. Especially with Peretz and Larin off on international breaks neither will get much of a break this season, feels inevitable there will be some games when not available, more midweek games than ever in championship means a two week injury can quickly turn into missing 4 or 5 matches

I've already seen a Boro fan claim THB is getting out as he's too afraid to play at the Riverside this season

He does crack me up, I need to be more like him in my job.

I wouldn't go that far. Its hardly like West Ham turning a £40M profit in one season on Matty Fernandes, we signed THB for £20M two years ago and he's not leaving for much more , getting the absolute minimum for him in my opinion Lets not forget they've had £9M off us for Dobbin which is a big rebate for them really as he's not worth that

Main man Mo , get on the blower and have a word bro

Should have been a minimum £30M in my opinion , not enough

Surely Saints have got Claus Lundekvam, Egil Ostenstad and Jo Tessum to have a word with the lad

Seems ridiculous doesn't it. I think its to do with the way they reconfigured the away end, probably have to leave additional segregation but licencing authority now signed off on opening full area. These new seats are behind the goal, under cover so decent block to be in

I think we do need another, bound to be a spell when Larin is out at some point, plus he will be off in North America playing for Canada during international breaks , worries me he'll be playing against USA on 7th Oct a few days before we play the Skates
