  1. It's very very early but some interesting signs emerging Sheffield United made it three defeats in a week losing 1-0 at Swansea with zero shots on target. Selles already has his work cut out there and I'm sure they'll improve but poor start for a team tipped to be in contention for promotion
  2. Football shirt equivalent of an attention seeking Facebook post desperately looking for likes
  3. Not sure I'd go that far, but bad enough not to get carried away with our win against them
  4. Two defeats in a matter of days as the Fortress, nice to see....but they really should have got at least a point there. Norwich collapsed and Skates had opportunities to score a few times
  5. Nice missed pen by the Skates as well. What's this all about at Fratton today?
  6. Best thing Derby did was getting Eustace in as boss , knows what he's doing
  7. Ha let's not get carried away , Stewart and Downs have hardly set the world alight either. Norwich look like a well organised side
  8. I've heard club frustrated with speed some of the deals are moving at, one of those things, not sure on Aribo but particularly Edozie seems to be changing each day. At least we got the Sulemana and Onuacho business done early and know where we stand with Ramsdale heading to Newcastle so not all bad
  9. I found the sky coverage a bit odd last night, they seemed to delight in the incident and went into full racism in football overdrive. We don't know what was said by one random disabled bloke who as far as any one knows could also have mental problems, it felt like the whole coverage got completely carried away on the subject. Actual game of football was really good, Bournemouth's manager has done a great job, was impressed with them considering players they've lost
  10. Got to be better than their current ground although this one also looks like it's out of town , bit of a life saver for them as arrangement at the Kassam was due to end
  11. I get the impression our recruitment team have got their search engine filter stuck on the German market.
  12. Yes and Sky show championship games at that time on a Saturday (three on tomorrow), Sunday midday is a shite kick off time for most match going fans, especially any that rely on public transport
  13. At the request of SKY who want to show it live but not in their precious Premier League prime time slots. Awful for travelling fans
  14. Yeah I still get the impression that Still is experimenting and not settled on formation or favoured starting XI, who knows what we'll start with on Sunday. I think Ipswich will feel frustrated by their start so will come at us, although a warm sunny midday kick off on a sunday usually wouldn't result in a high intensity match, some insight from their fans here https://tractor-boys.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69747&sid=32e482f6a5a39f70fbc61489f767028d
  15. Still pack your swimmers just in case Steve
  16. Ipswich set to lose another star performer
  17. And they'll finish above us (again)
  18. It's been a 5 hour drive there before with m25 traffic, bloody tough trip on a Tuesday night, suppose some will make a trip of it but we've played there plenty of times so not appealing
  19. Fair play mate, was just interested, they should probably pay you a few quid as well considering the millions of copies they sell
  20. Out of interest is it a full time job or do you do it in your spare time?
  21. Is this game being shown online? Will be interesting to see the line up, u21s finished very strongly last season
  22. Yeah it's quite tight on that, remember years ago we played Wigan away 2012 I think. Was kid a quid , we took 4k up there and apparently 1/4 were u16s 🤣 lots of generous uncles buying for their nephews I think. I wanted to take one of my kids to an away last year, had to buy them an adult ticket as only qualifying numbers I or mates had were adult ones and couldn't change to an u16 Still Hull deserve a lot of credit for the pricing, £24 adult and £4 for kid is how it should be
  23. Give it a rest, pass is fine, it's the Mr Bean antics of Downs getting himself in a pickle and falling over that's the issue. Plenty of time on the training ground to work on that
  24. Yeah got to assume it's that, and no one wants to play in that condition, just saying must have come on quick as he was in starting line up when team sheets were submitted He doesn't have much luck does he poor bloke
  25. Any preference for who we want in the next round? Would be nice to play at a ground we haven't visited before like Bromley or Wimbledon, avoid the Premier League teams I think it's still north and south split for this draw
