With our now reliance on the academy being our 1st team, do you think in the long term our reputation will diminish for producing quality home grown talent? I wonder how many players will really make it to premier/championship standards? How many will have confidence and form lost and never return? How many would benefit from playing in a team with more experience to guide them through WHEN they are ready for the 1st team? Will the above make us less attractive to potential talent in the long term if we carry on as we are?

I thought it could have been a red from the Itchen, jumping in from 4" away studs up is a red......but due to making contact with the ball and only slight contact with the player it could have got a yellow Ref's do not care if a game finishes with 22 players at full time and I don't think any fan wants to see an uneven contest, as Fergie said if he was dealt with properly early on that challenge may not have happened!

There seem to be many things we should improve on and discipline is just one of them although I think we should try to practice scoring goals 1st!

Do you not think we could get done for speed very easily with a quick striker against us and the old heads at CB? I'm not saying he wouldn't be a good signing but I would prefer him as holding midfield with dare I say it Lancashire at CB (until we can get anything better in)

If Southend can get a draw at Chelsea we could get something, I very much doubt we will but I thought that about Reading home and away ????

Slightly worrying amount of pace we would have with him and Perry at CB, still a good experienced head in the changing room

The only reason I can see for Lowe to return is to sort out the mess financially (who caused it is irrelevant) and to possibly cover up any little scams he had going on before his departure where all the clubs cash disappeared too, he will then gladly go should he get a good offer for his shares IMO
