  1. Now that the supposed squabbling has been shot down in flames, maybe we can adopt the old "Harry and Jim" tune to "Alan and Nick":D Please note this was meant as a joke and anybody who sings that song at SMS will be hunted down and beaten with a stick of celery
  2. He may have 3 names but I think you are pushing it a bit
  3. Real shame about Antonnio and Papa .... the Super Sub Factor they gave us from the bench was an important string in our bow and was responsible for quite a few points and a trip to Wembley. A Huge Thanks to both guys for the entertainment both of you gave us and who knows, talks may still be going on. (LOL expect to see this in The Echo tomorrow and NC refusing to comment etc )
  4. Probably one of the nicest chat lines Stu has ever had
  5. Was that the moment when we all started chanting Que sera sera we're going to The Fitness First Stadium ...... What a bunch of mongs they were when their promotion was assured .... but whilst coming to ours will be their "Cup Final" I guess, it will just be another 3-1 win at the office for us
  6. THE BULLS#!T CONTINUES !!!!!!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8681619.stm Avram Grant hails Portsmouth FA Cup 'fairytale' Grant looks forward to 'miracle' final Portsmouth manager Avram Grant has claimed that his side's run to the FA Cup final has boosted the competition. Grant faces a Chelsea side hoping to complete their first league and FA Cup Double on Saturday. And Grant believes that victory for the beleaguered south-coast club after a season that saw it enter administration will add to the Cup's mystique. "Nobody remembers if Chelsea or Man United win the Cup. This final is good for English football," he said. Grant, who led Chelsea to the 2008 Champions League final during his stint in charge at Stamford Bridge, added: "There will be a final between Chelsea and Manchester United - so what? Chelsea and United is good for the Champions League final. But it doesn't add anything to the FA Cup. "Everybody remembers when Sunderland beat Leeds United. This is what football in England is about. This is the fairytale," added the Israeli, recalling the 1973 final when the then-second division north east club stunned FA Cup holders Leeds 1-0 at Wembley. "This is the only place in the world where this can happen. Portsmouth finished bottom of the Premier League after a season which saw them change ownership four times and docked nine points after being forced into administration in March. "The Premier League should be proud of us," Grant added. "They should go to each and every one of our supporters and say 'you kept the true spirit of the Premier League alive'. "When I look from the outside I don't believe it. It's impossible. How can we do it this year, go to Wembley with so much pride with our heads held high? This is why I was so happy after the semi-final. "Tottenham are a team that's scored a lot of goals - goals against Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United - everybody. Against us for 120 minutes, with a lot of injuries and players who couldn't play for us, they couldn't score. We score two and win. It was amazing", said Grant of Pompey's semi-final upset of Spurs. "All through the Cup I've felt good. We said there are many things that we can't change that happen off the pitch. To be in high spirits with good character on the pitch, this is something we can do." Phucking unbeleivable
  7. Shame about the dig at MLT, LM and Franny .... but who knows if they were quoted correctly in the first place I would like to think that their replies might have been a little bit more guarded with a "if these rumours are true.." at the beginning of their support for AP. Can you imagine if any of these guys had said no comment, the Echo would have been using this as further proof that the rumours were true A big LOL at The Echo who run this story http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8162295.Counting_cost_of_Pardew_job_fears/?ref=mr just before the NC statement  And then they have the gall to blame National Press, and The BBC and highlight NCs rant at MLT,LM and FB but amazingly overlooked the biggest culprits named by NC ... The Echo themselves  An apology from The Echo is the least they could do, wonder if NC has a team of lawyers doing a Roops and looking at a court case for defammation of character etc
  8. Yoof Huckwit The Style Guru stuofromsey Bad Boy Saint's b!atch
  9. MEH MEH and MEH again ...... by forgetting to post my 3-1 prediction for The JPT Final before going to France and then not being able to post whilst in Tignes I deprived myself of 6 points that would have rocketed me up from 6th to 3rd It's been great fun, thanks Grant ... but just how did all us blokes get beaten out of sight by some girlies . Well done girls ... but how did you manage to come to an agreement on which of your score predictions to choose? Admit it you just rolled a dice didn't you
  10. WTF did they get that picture of KK from  I wonder how many weeks / months ago KK made that quote
  11. I wonder if AP has a get clause of his own that would allow him to move if a Prem club were to come a calling  I seem to remember him saying when he was first appointed, something along the lines of the only other club in our league position he'd even think about joining would have been West Ham Utd ...... here we go with the old spiritual home bollix again  I sincerely hope Zola keeps his job
  12. Oh surprise surprise, once again the dates May 30th and June 5th weekends coincide with school (half term) holidays ........ how bloody cynical are these people.. The disruption isn't just on the day of the strike. It screws up the schedule the day before and day after as aircraft and crews are in the wrong place for schedules to continue normally either side of the day of industrial action They are losing all public support, and fare paying passengers but targeting family holidays.
  13. Okay boys and girls hows about getting back to the initial point raised in this fred, not should he be sacked or not ... but the "fact"that Ladbrokes aren't taking anymore bets on him getting the old heave ho  As Phil asked earlier, can't one of you get your arse down to Ladbrokes and see if you can or cannot make a bet on Pardew getting the sack..... that might help confirm/kick into touch this rumour as "Fact or Fiction" for the time being at least I'd love to but I can't find any Bookies in The Dubai Yellow Pages
  14. Kippy you are a man of good taste ....... and the adverts were the dogs dangly bits The only better thing than watching a girl go down on a flake is watching one lick out a Walnut whip
  15. From his point of view he will defo be here next season.
  16. AP says its from his point of view he is defo staying.

  22. Quality timing again ... well done Alps. 2 posts and 2 goals to us although a bit of a hiccup with Sarfend also scoring with seconds of your 1st. Now a nice long slow OWTS
