We've had 2 half chances since they scored.... but what we don't want (Trademark) is for us to get impatient. Make that 3 chances .... Barnard header saved. Busy start. -

......"back to the bread and butter of the league, but what thick bread and creamy butter it has to be"' LOL 0-1 .... that's my prediction out of the window early doors  -
Probably one of the most famous was the FA Cup match at Forest in the late 70's something like 10000 Saints fans up there .... think it may have been a police decision for us to go in there .... but the locals weren't best pleased

Don't forget The BEITBP Tax. Not well known outside of Harryville, but it is the 'Brown Envelope In The Back Pocket' deal breaker.

I wonder if that was as scary as The Saints Fans waving 20 quid notes at him

Before we get carried away lets not forget Walsall2Brentford1Nicholls 35 Deeney 84 MacDonald 17 Attend: 3616 Half-time: 1-1 Match Day Live AND MORE WORRYINGLY........ Leeds1Walsall2McSheffrey 54 Mattis 46 McDonald 81 Attend: 18941 Half-time: 0-0 Match Day Live were their 2 previous matches prior to the mid week blip v Yeovil. Might not be the cakewalk most on here seem to think it will be. Still, I'm going for a hard earned 2-0 -
I preferred the old cross field pass to Mick Channon who was hugging the touch line (so that he could keep updated by the fans on who was winning the 3 o clock at Ascot or where ever ) Spread betting on the time of the first throw in wasn't really an issue in those days

I bloody well did ......Splurtage of Red Bull and Vodka all over the place:D

Couldn't listen to the match last night, but I see from the stats we didn't get a single corner .... probably due to nobody getting down to the byeline to put in any decent crosses. A lot of the talk is about the state of the pitch. Normally the wings are about the last bit of the pitch that gets cut up on football pitches, but maybe with the pitch being used for egg chasing matches as well, the wings were equally as bad.

"We believe that allowing the club to collapse would do lasting damage to the economy around this part of Hampshire," claimed Lord Mandelson, "Without the club, there was be a sudden loss of demand for beer, blue coloured clothes, tattoo parlours and bells. And where would all those sailors on shore leave go?"

So, does this mean the 48000 seater World Cup stadium and Riquleme transfer are to be put on the back burner for a while then

QUOTE=Corporate Ho;546427] If you want to know what I feel, my worry is that the club will cease to exist and will be liquidated so the ****s now in charge can develop the land. But before you laugh too loudly, just think, Liebherr's undoubtedly bought you as an investment to punt on for a profit at some point. You've got no say in who buys you and someone could come in and do the same to you as they've done to PFC. Happy new year girls and if we stay in business maybe we'll spank you 4 - 1 again next year in the chumpionship. He's a witch I tells ya .... he posted that on 30 Dec, before the cup draw was made ... ok the competition is wrong but predicting THAT result again .... plain scary. I was going to post in response to Norway Saint that I wasn't starting a witch hunt against him (but now that I have discovered that he is one, I can't post that ) I haven't actually posted anything against him .... just quoted him and let his words do the rest

Even their "next 48 hours" time scales (as opposed to fish scales) are losing value

LOL ..... a frozen puddle within a mile radius of a school would be enough reason for Health & Safety to close the school down in England.

Had a spare moment or two and the re emergence of Corp tonight and the Riquleme signing situation taunts, I thought I'd have a quick flick thru Corps posting history ...... I thoroughly recommend it ... priceless Here are a few found at random ..... a fair while ago, but even then folk on here were warning Ho et al of their impending doom!!! You'd have thought they were used to failed takeovers by now !!! 15 Sep 08 08 Oct 08 01 Oct 08 21 Nov 08 23 Dec 08 Was told late last night that the SA group looking to buy us had a hitch in their plans but that they now have the finance to buy the club pretty much in place. They have around £60m and Gaydamak wants £65m. Have been told that the deal should (unless something else crops up) happen some time in January. Have also been told that this group don't want Adams and that he's likely to be moved out before the deal is announced. So keep watching. How's your search for new owners coming along? I hear administration is a definite possibility for you in January. 27 May 09 Now where have I heard that before 28 May 09 More later maybe

I think we are all having trouble keeping up with which is the latest failed takeover
