In a way I guess I should be glad about all the crap surrounding lallana / shaw / lovren etc and the departure of SRL and Mopo.......... up until a few weeks ago I was looking forward to this World Cup like no other since 1970!! I felt virtually zilch when AL came on as sub either game, as it was a sh!te decision both times, as was the Barkley one both times. Needing goals and Woy brings on midfielders each game. 3 mins for SRL .... what a bloody insult, but at least he eat Wheelchair to 3rd spot this time!! Welbeck Henderson and Johnson would have been hard pushed to make the Saints subs bench and Gerrard would have been making HT tea. SFC first .... England a distant 2nd.

Basically he has been banned from one of the less desirable Bars in Dubai - Rock Bottom - (Dubai Phil frequents it so I rest my case ;-) .), after being chucked out for being drunk and disorderly and then had a bit of a drunken rant on FaceBook!! ......... Management at Rock Bottom confirmed that the 25-year-old Englishman has been barred from both branches of the popular watering hole after he wrote “derogatory” comments in a foul-mouthed rant on his social network page. Scott Charlton, the manager of Rock Bottom’s Tecom branch, claimed the man was “very drunk” in the venue last Tuesday and had to be escorted out by security, which sparked the offensive online remarks. In his post, the Rock Bottom customer slammed senior management and labelled bouncers as “warped”. Despite pledging never to set foot in the bar again, he returned last Thursday and Charlton approached him to ask why he had posted the comments on Facebook. “His comments did not make valid points and they were just direct attacks. If he had valid complaints he should have came to us,” Charlton said. The World Cup bug still hasn't reached e yet. Barely a month ago I was moist with anticipation at our 3 boys being in the squad and possibly getting some game time between them. Constantly singing "we are Southampton, we're off to Brazil" to myself etc, eagerly awaiting for the public denial from AL about LFC rumours, Man Yoo being scared off at Luke's price tag, and just loving SRL being so excited about making the squad and MP to stop arsing around and sign up. Now, diddley squat. Desperately playing old England WC songs, drinking beer ahead of having to stay up till 4 am to see the outcome of tonights game to get in the mood. Weeks ago this would have been dream time, now it's a bloody chore. Yep for all intents and purposes AL and LS are still Saints, and to be honest SRL always will be for me, i just love the man, and his sheer exuberance since making the team and scoring against Scotland has been a joy to behold. That goal must be up in the top 5 mad goal celebration moments I ever had. Hopefully in a pub full of cheering England Fans and a good few beers down my neck, I may manage to raise a bit of enthusiasm, but this is England we are talking about so I'm sure things will go pear shaped !! Hot Dog, Sausage Roll, Come on England score a goal. Now where are my Union Jack Undercrackers (I know but don't have any St George Flag shreddies)

First of all you are dealing with a technophobe here, so keep it simple please!! 1/ My Internet connection disconnects when I open Twitter (on IE). 2/ So i used Google Chrome and it was ok .... but now I can't open Google Chrome at all. Have tried uninstalling / reinstalling Chrome with no joy and also as suggested on Google added -no-sandbox to the address line with no joy either. Desperate to get Chrome back for watching dodgy WC streams and Twitter forkeeping up to date with @DubaiSaints. Cheers EoA

I went to the home leg and saw him score a hat trick on is debut, and as someone else mentioned it was hoped he'd be the next Steve Moran, but it didn't pan out that way. On the subject of Woking, wasn't Glen Cockeril manager there? is he still there?

Maybe the original thinking was that we'd have our 3 England Boys plus Yoshida, Gaston and Lovren away on World Cup duty, that an overseas tour without them might be a bit pointless. But now with there being a chance that only 1 of them will be here at the start of next season (unless Yosh has a great campaign and Liverpool fancy expanding their Far Eastern support base) that may change. Of course we could be buying a load of replacement players already lined up from World Cup squads and be back to square one!! Maybe fixtures against Liverpool, Man U and Spurs, or even a mini tournament, will be arranged as part of the transfer packages, so that we can give our departing players / manager and backroom staff a fond send off ;-)

I don't trust women with beards (not inferring Mrs H has one!!) As this all developes it's plain to see why AL was so uneasy accepting award after award at The End of Season Player of The Year event, and even less comfortable making any speeches about how happy he is here!!

Pretty fair assessment Certainly not the 31 beerin UK that's for sure!! Don't buy the cans, the bottles are better (as with all beers tbh), assuming you don't have access to draught at your local bar.
