Its mega hard to get a good finish with chrome paint, one slight (and I mean slight) mistake or imperfection in the preparation leaves it looking like brushed alloy instead of a mirror finish. A lot of people these days are going for vinyl wraps to get camo/matt/carbon effects. http://www.raccoon.co.uk/homepage.php http://blog.cardomain.com/blog/2008/08/color-change-vi.html

Attention seeker. Put up or shut up, thanks.

Fable 2, FM09, Rock Band 2 and RacePro are my choices. Maybe QoS too if there's a demo coming out.

I don't agree with that, I don't know where to look other than eBay, the only BIN Falcon on there that's just the console only is £100 plus post. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Microsoft-Xbox-360-Premium-Console-only-BOXED-HDMI_W0QQitemZ360091454934QQihZ023QQcategoryZ112848QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Hmm, just looked on eBay and your quotes are about right, but I'll stress I never said it'll make a perfect present for little Johnny's 10th birthday. And does anyone really expect to pay the asking price for anything these days?

I can't be bothered to get it fixed myself, as I said its already been replaced in this house with a new Arcade, so I just thought someone else could do it and do what they want with it? Erm....nope. Or buy it for £60, and do what you want if you want to get it fixed yourself.....? The game you get with the Arcade is just 5 crappy Live Arcade games, not even worth a tenner, I'll chuck it in for whoever buys this!

Its served me well, but its all over, my 360 Premium is now dead, and available for spares/repairs. Description of the problem: Its NOT RRoD'd (yet) and is not banned from Xbox Live, the DVD drive works perfectly and has never misread a disc. I would have shipped it off to MS myself as its still got all the seals and has never been opened, but my Dad didn't know about this (I never got a moment to tell him) and he went out and bought a brand new Arcade. Cosmetically, its just a standard 360 Premium that's lived in the living room the past year. Its the Falcon model with a HDMI port. It doesn't come with any pads, no cables, no games, and no harddrive. Just the bare console (and HDD blanking plate). Depending on what I'll do with them, they might be available later. £60, post will be a tenner. PayPal please. I can't be bothered with the hassle of ringing them up and sending it off, I'd only sell it after they fixed it. Naturally, as its clearly listed as faulty, no returns. Use it for spares, fix it yourself, or get MS to fix it, I'm not fussed. Now sold.

Sorry, I thought I'd replied to this thread, got all the games listed in the first post that aren't marked as sold.

SSN reporter at the match just said that he can't believe we're in the bottom 3, we're getting the ball down well and making good moves.

Just dug out the reciept, I got it in August 2007, so its outside the one year warranty (and doesn't have any red lights lit, so no 3 year warranty against that...). Good job the Arcade is dropped today to £130!

OK, OK, I know it wasn't totally unexpected given the track record of the 360 hardware failiure rates, but I came today to play on my 360 Premium, and I'm having a slight....issue. Stick in game (COD 4), boot it all up, dashboard is fine, loading screens fine, get into a match fine online (team deathmatch). All is OK for the first minute of play, rack up a few kills quickly (I'm pretty handy)....then all of a sudden the screen starts displaying what I can best describe as ''Matrix-style'' tiny black squares on any texture that's dark. Walls, players, shadows etc. It was nearly impossible to see inside the buildings on Pipeline. I've wiggled every connection on the telly in a vain attempt to fix it, but its still there, and the issue gets worse and worse over the course of the match, like I'm playing in a hazy snowstorm. I thought it might have been a problem with COD4, but nope, Battlefield Bad Company produces a green version of the problem. If I sit down and think about it, its only when the 360 is displaying 3D graphics (loading screens, menu/dashboard is OK), and gets worse the longer the 3D graphics are displayed, so would you say its that problem of the graphics chip heating up and flexing, breaking the solder joints? At this point, I haven't got any red rings lit, so I'm a little confused (all mentions of graphics hardware failiure online mentions red rings). If it helps, its a Falcon model, manufactured last September.

Got it, played it about half an hour and its sat in the box since. I liked the diving, even though it hurt my head twisting both the sticks around the circle.

Chopped him down at the knees, auto red and he'll be very lucky if he's not given a longer suspension. Might be debut nerves, but a terrible showing and the lad should be ashamed of himself - how it ruined what was shaping up to be a close(ish) match.

Thanks a lot Ollie.

WTF, where was the organisation?

Personally, I think Jenson has been getting complacent being a big fish in a small pond. The sooner Honda ship out Rubens and bring in someone who can show JB up, the better

Another for the mix, only came out the other week, the Samsung i8510, anyone have one? 8mp of goodness.

Pass but a lot of minor faults.

Fantastic, thanks.

Does anyone still have that sound clip from a Scottish radio phone-in? Scotland fan; ''I don't know why Craig Brown [can't remember who he said was the Scottish manager] doesn't pick Antti Niemi for the Scotland squad'' Presenter; ''Antti Niemi?!'' Fan; ''Yeah, Antti Niemi'' Presenter; ''He's Finnish'' Fan; ''Finished? He's only 29!''

Jamie Redknapp Only here because Daddy gave him his final payday.

Just bought something for £17 on eBay. Before I go and pay, does anyone know of any current PayPal voucher codes? Or a site that lists them without needed to sign up for anything?

Me and my younger brother spotted Damon Hill in the paddock at the British Touring Car Championship at Donnington Park earlier this year. He was talking outside of a team awning about the new Superleague GP series (like F1 with footy teams), so we waited patiently aside for him to finish his conversation as we didn't want to be rude and butt in. Waited about half an hour for him, with a race programme and a pen ready for him to sign his autograph, and another bloke with his 5 year old kid was waiting too. When he said his goodbyes to the guys he was talking with, my bro asked for a minute to sign the programme and he just ignored him and walked away. Childhood heroes - don't meet them. The flipside is we got Tom Onslow-Cole's autograph and he was a great, approachable guy, and since then my brother has him as his favourite driver. A simple act of kindness has made him another fan.
