After a very disappointing season and lead up to this, in every respect, I decided to takeover the running of a Southampton Senior side, have regretted that decision since ML came on board but have made a commitment, unless they sack me after a few games it will be midweek only for me, as for supporting another professional club...although I look with interest at a club I have liked since '83 I doubt I could support another club.

I think if this thread, or some posters, are able to 'clear' the name of those people who originally set out to do good by the club then its no bad thing, if as FF suggests one man as yet unamed took everyone for a ride then I fail to understand why Lynam, Crouch or MLT do not name him.

I would of thought someone more prolific than Crouch would be available for 10 mil but pleased for him as he does come across as a decent bloke, however, don't care if he doesn't score one goal for them and they along with his old team get relegated.

It goes beyond odd, we have been down for so long that the apathy became infectious, I think some believe they may upset the new owner by what they may post(as if) but ultimately I believe its a waiting game, ML wants success, those he has appointed will want success and the only sure fire way of obtaining that, on and off the pitch, will be by winning games and getting out of this league and beyond, only way we will be able to do that is by spending money its just about the financial methodology
