LED TV is a bit of a misnomer but as manufacturers and retailers continue to use the term, it makes it's way into the public conscience and is worth deliberating on the differences. LED televisions are really just LCD televisions that use LED lights for back lighting instead of the flourescent CFL lighting traditionally used for LCDs. Both employ the liquid crystal diode (LCD) technology front panel containing the “twisting crystals” which define LCD technology.

I've read LED TV's are pretty much the same as LCD - just a bit thinner because of technology and the back lights of the screen are LED lit rather than just being standard. I think I'm going to opt for the cheaper one as it's got DVI which I would ideally like because of connecting to my laptop. Also it's £10 cheaper on ebay with Tesco Outlet.

I've been playing it for about a week - not been very impressed really. I didn't think much of the last one and it grew on me so it may happen again. I thoroughly enjoyed Medal of Honour and I think this is just a bit too soon.

Need a 22"er for my bedroom. Very little between them though! What would you do?

I think we could do with a young'en on loan from one of the big clubs till the end of the season - a winger or something like that to add a bit of pace to the side. Other than that I don't think there's much we could improve.

Mine keeps on not allowing me to connect wirelessly - dropping wireless connection etc. Think they have quite a few faulty homehubs.

In Sussex unforuntately Need underlay too! How much is it generally for that? I'm looking at carpet thats about £15-18 M2

They're a bit of a f*cker to get repaired when they go wrong - other than that I think they're brilliant.

They've got a bloody good website where you can tick the ones that interest you and view them all together - then order 4 samples!

I've got to have a load of new carpet fitted within the next couple of weeks. Where is the best place to go for £/quality. I was going to go to Carpet Right, but I ran that past someone who called them carpet Shi*e - so have had second thoughts. I live in West Sussex so it would need to be a branch of shops that operate in this area! Am I best to get it fitted by the store or find someone who fits carpet and try and do a deal with them?
