  1. It does seem to have lost the buzz it used to have - not sure why that is really. I wouldn't say the rules are forced any harder than before - but rather we just have a new breed of posters.
  2. Would this work on the iphone 3gs with Iphone 4 OS installed?
  3. I know someone who got it and was really disappointed - got the iPhone 4 instead. He says in may respects he preferred his iphone 3gs which he replaced with the Desire. Depends on your uses really. Blackberry is a good shout too. I wouldn't buy the iPhone 4 because of all the problems they've had with it. I'd also find it difficult to buy the 3gs because of it being an older model.
  4. True that. I'm actually minted and just trying to get free stuff. No really, they were amazingly good deals. The cooker was £389 on argos. The sofa cost £699 from DFS a couple of years back - still in good nick. I've done well! All thanks to this thread too. Sort of.
  5. I wouldn't go Samsung personally. HTC is a good shout. Nothing beats the iPhone though!
  6. Devastated. Best of luck to him though. (hints of sarcasm)
  7. Lucky you! Rubbish phone. I'd have thought if you have a real go at the Vodafone director you may find you get a free phone and 18 month contract. Doubt you'll get much more tbh. Look at what happened when the government left loads of peoples private details on trains and stuff - nothing. Best of luck though!
  8. Disappointed to see Thomas go. He is injured a lot and on high wages so I fully understand why, but I thought he was a pretty solid player. Still scored my favourite goal in this league! Hope he does well for them.
  9. Great story. Shows that not all people on jobseekers allowance are leeching scum.
  10. Bought a year old cream corner sofa last night from someone on gumtree for £120. Bought an ikea table with 6 chairs for £50 off someone on ebay and £150 on a brand new free standing electric cooker with hob also from ebay. Thanks guys. If anyone else has anything they would like to give me - please let me know
  11. Can't you buy it with one of your parents as a guarantor to pay your mortgage? Obviously you won't use them - but peace of mind for the lender. Bit depressing but that's the way it seems to be at the moment.
  12. meh. The club is sound and I believe Mr Cortese has the clubs best interests at heart. I support anything he does.
  13. Agreed. Not a country suitable for the EU.
  14. Thanks for your wise words of wisdom as ever Stevo
  15. I was 15 just over 6 years ago, so maybe you're getting confused with that? You oldies do tend to suffer memory loss
  16. I forgot all about them! Thanks.
  17. I bought my first house last week and I am absolutely skint. (feels like I will be for the rest of my life too!) Does anyone have a decent table and 4/6 chairs they would like to get rid of? Also looking for a gas/electic cooker & hob. Also after a washing machine. Thought it might be worth asking. I had all sorts of things in my attic which I didn't want from my last place which I gave away and have gone to happy homes. I'm happy to collect - I live in Brighton but I'll be in Southampton this Friday. Thanks guys.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260640365303&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_950wt_1137 You could get something like that?
  19. Worth a try. Mention Virgin Media to them too. It didn't work for me. I've got freeview HD now
  20. Mine goes tiny when I get shaving foam on it. Most bizzare. Most of the time it's f*cking huge though.
  21. I worked for a petfood company when I was 16 for about 6 months. I was getting paid based on how much I packaged. Got about £25 a month lol.
  22. Locked.
