  1. They do say the Welsh love to sing. Yesterday was proof in the pudding right there...!!!
  2. Brilliant...!!!
  3. Oh... come on Manji, you can't leave us hanging like that...! At least give us a couple of obscure snippets of how dodgy 'Arry the Media Whore really was...
  4. For starters he spouted some utter tripe about him "having manage with on arm tied behind his back from day one".
  5. Looks apparent we will have little or no action on transfer deadline day... Is this what it feels like to be an Arsenal fan...?
  6. 100% Agree. Another flair player or an extremely quick winger (with an end product) would be nice though.
  7. Tommy Widdrington Neil Madison Frankie Bennett
  8. Either the above (the old Rasiak song) or.... To the tune of "I love you baby" Oh Morgan Schneiderlin, You are the love of my life, Oh Morgan Schneiderlin, I'd let you sleep with my wife, Oh Morgan Schneiderlin, I just wanna be you... Repeat as required... An easy song to an easy tune that everyone knows.
  9. Un-*******-believable...!!! AWESOME result!
  10. I concur, it's the Royal Oak behind the East Street Shopping Centre and Debenhams. It was quite a good atmosphere in there for the Everton game [apart from the 13-minute spell where we capitulated and conceded three goals].
  11. I concur, The Porterhouse is excellent. The Argylle Arms outside Oxford Circus Tube Station is also an excellent pub.
  12. I wholeheartedly concur. I agree having no points on the board yet is worrying but I'm still confident successes are just around the corner. .... and as for the mass exodus when United equalised... disgraceful...!!!
  13. Joined the queue at the Stadium at 8:20am. Got my tickets [three of them] at 1:10pm. Queued for nearly 5-hours...!!! Only twenty tickets left when I got mine. There were a lot of highly disgruntled fans in the queue after realising only three ticket office windows were open [myself included]. Laughable and shocking planning all the same! Whilst I agree having a season ticket should give you a priority, having a season ticket AND attending away games should give you even more priority still. I think it quite obvious Arsenal Away was always going to be a popular fixture to attend, given its close proximity and with it being our first visit to the Emirates. If this game had come along later in the season the loyalty point argument probably wouldn't have had so much influence over the ability to buy tickets. Just a case of bad timing on the fixtures front I suppose. At the end of the day, if you're willing to camp out overnight or get out of bed in the early hours to queue then fair play to you if you manage to get a ticket. Whilst frustrating the atmosphere with people in the queue was jovial and it was good to have some hearty football-based debate whilst boring your a**e of waiting...!!! Looking forward to enjoying a few beers with my new Saints-mates at the Emirates in a couple weeks time!
  14. I got charged £3.80 a pint for "Saints Ale" yesterday in the Kingsland... WTF...?!?!?!
  15. In my modest opinion, Clyne is very good. Saw him three times last season. Every time he seemed very assured on the ball, patient bellied by his confidence in possession and always looking for a sensible option to pass. No real "Hollywood" type passes from what I can recall. Defo sign him up.
  16. No worries...... I fully intend to still be out on the town celebrating at that point... ;o)
  17. 3 of us staying in York after hearing it's an epic night out. Driving to York, Travelodge in the centre of town for the night, return train journey York to Boro only £12 each. Bonne da Douche...!!!
  18. I'm intending to drive up with four of us in the car. Wanted to tap your brains regards the best route to take. Obviously M3, M25, A1 will be the option Sat Nav provides. A mate of mine suggested going M3, A34, M40, A43, A45 as there are bad roadworks on the M25 North at present. You guys got any thoughts on this...?
  19. My brother bought terrace tickets for four of us yesterday. Gonna have to drive up because the trains look sh1t. Replacement bus service on the return leg from Waterloo to Soton Central. Kannee Wait...!!!
  20. Saw Rickie miss a penalty against Bart at the end of a training session on the Sponsors Day at St Mary's back at the end of November. Adkins commented to the crowd "now that's not something you're going to see very often".
  21. Many Happy Returns Big Man...!!! A rendition of Happy Birthday would be hilarious on Saturday... ;o)
  22. Not sure if this one has been offered up so far..... pulled out of the archives. To the tune of "Blue Moon"... Blue few You're always standing alone Without a club to support With a ground of your own
